    • Great clock for math teachers
This clock looks great in my math class and my students have commented on it often. The clock is really very simple, and plain. The face is a thin piece and there is no border or cover. Just a flat, black disc with a small motor and battery in the back. Pros: The clock is silent, even in a quiet room, I can't hear any ticks or anything which is great. I bought this clock at the beginning of the school year and have it up in my room. So far, after about 3 months I have not needed to adjust the time at all or change the batteries. This is great, it keeps good time and what more could you ask for. Cons: Because the writing is so big on the face, you can't really use any of the "numbers" to tell the time. You really need to just think about the direction that the hands are pointing. For a math teacher, maybe that's not a big deal, but I could see someone complaining about that. Another problem with those "numbers" is that they aren't exactly lined up. This is to say, that 6 'o clock is not really written and the 6 'o clock position and is a little off (to the right). In addition, there was no mounting hardware included with my clock, luckily I had a small picture frame hook lying around. Conclusion: This is a great simple clock. My students enjoy it and often ask if I made, it. I guess they find it rather unbelievable that anyone would make, let alone buy one of these. But it is simple and keeps good time. Make sure that you have something prepared to mount it and you'll be good to go. For the price, I would definitely buy it again if I needed to. ... show more
