This is my second masticator and my 3rd juicer. I definitely love a masticator over a centrifuge type juicer. I had high hopes for this one. Sadly is produced a fraction of the juice a fruit or vegetable would normally yield masticated. The actually grinding component is significantly smaller than most and requires you to chop the fruit or vegetables in small pieces. Lastly it leaks. I would not purchase this juicer. Out of the many juicers out there, I chose this one because it was reasonably priced and highly rated. I do not regret it! It can juice carrots! Pineapple is great too. Cut it into small chunks and put it in at the end because it's a more fibrous fruit. Same with carrots.
