The bike is a beauty, unfortunately it will not start for us. The pull to start is stuck. I have been messaging the seller with no quick response. I would like them to send us another bike ASAP. And I hope they send for someone to pick this thing up. It was dropped off by a semi-truck. So, I hope they don't think I have any resources on how to get this to them. I got it on sale so we would rather have them replace it. Because the price is now 200 more than what I paid, ... show more

Great bike for putting a gx200 race engine on. The front tire came flat. But they replaced it. I added a mod2 camshaft, champion rocker arms, 22lb arc springs, billet rod, billet flywheel, and a vm22 mikuni carburetor. Also using a turque converter with a different crankshaft. And I can hit 45-48mph at half throttle. I've hit 6mph at 3/4 throttle and was too scared to go faster. ... show more

    • Poor QA and Terrible Support
Assembly wasn't bad. It looks good, feels good, and is reasonably fast. However, sometimes there are problems, and as a consumer, it's all about how they handle customer support. Massimo quality assurance could be improved, and their customer support is terrible. I hate saying this because I think they are US based and I want to support that. On the QA side, some screws were already tight even though directions said they would need tightened. Some screws were loose even though no directions to tighten them. Even worse, the entire throttle system had problems right out of the box...from the slipping throttle grip to the cable that had play in it, and down to the assembly near the engine which was all very loose. I took the play out of the cable and tightened the assembly screws below, which made it much more responsive and a little faster. However, the throttle grip still slips. I thought I'd contact Massimo before trying to fix it myself. I made an account online and put in a service request. I got a prompt email from a technician who said he'd be handling my case. Communication wasn't great, but we were making progress. I would have been happy to get directions to fix it myself, and/or them shipping a new rubber grip with glue, or anything. A rude customer service manager got involved and made it sound like I was being a problem. He told me not to contact them anymore and gave me two options: either order parts online or haul it to a service center. He did not say what parts I need and sounds like it's on my dime. I have no way to haul it. I look forward to a response from Massimo, and the "CS Manager" in particular. I will copy the email threads here if needed. ... show more

Ordered a black one they delieved the camo instead. Package was beat up pretty good when it arrived and the pull string handle was broke. Other then that not bad product.
