I’ve been researching for a while after using my brothers $10,000 massage chair many many many times. I didn’t think I could get one as great for lesser until I found this one. Familiarize yourself to the settings. There’s so many different combos -micro combos-to meet your massage needs. The “auto program” modes can be changed with different massage styles (kneading, shiatsu, tapping) by going to “manual mode”. If I need an area worked more I use “full” then stop with “partial” and it works 6in. area at a time. I thought this chair did not get my back knots very well, until the next day I woke up and was sore. I’ll scoot down in the chair to have it massage my head/temples or deeper into the neck. I manipulate my feet different in the foot massage cradle to get specific points. Don’t forget to move around to get those tricky knots (the chair is stationary but you aren’t 🤓). My first go I used it for 2 hours and took a 3 hour nap; Why I think the chair shuts off reclined so it does not wake you lol. You can flip the attached back pads up to get a deeper massage. You can add a pillow under your bum/lower back if you’re little too short. This was a “3” man lift, from where the shipping company sat in our garage, to the back sunroom. The set up was quite easy. The massage chair itself seems less bulkier than my brothers and takes a less space than I thought. UPDATE-I use this chair every night for an hour, it’s helped me be less aggressive in traffic & with my mental health lol. Be careful when your knees are in the cradle- “5” on air intensity can pull your knee muscles. I do get sleepier when the O2 is on. The width setting of the massage nodes is “only” available on shiatsu (great for glutes when sitting upright). If you use your arms a lot-recline way back-twist your upper body so your back-armpit (traps) are on the nodes with your arm stretched above your head and you’ll kill those knots. I will say that the massage quality is great. It also looks great. However, there are three specific things that are advertised on Amazon as features that are not working. The "voice" commands are non-existent and the owner's manual only tells you how to turn the feature on and no way how to use it. There is also supposed to be music playing during specific massage programs that are listed in the owner's manual. No music ever plays. The advertised "Negative Ion O2" doesn't appear to work at all. If is actually working, the fan speed to push the air is so low that I can't tell if it is on or not. I selected this massage chair based on advertised features and the excellent reviews. However, I learned later that Amazon has hidden all the negative reviews with complaints about some of the things I mentioned above. If I would have seen the hidden reviews I probably would've chosen a different chair. ... show more
