Updated Review: This little kareoke machine fulfills my classroom needs perfectly. My 4 and 5 year old PreK students named her Princess Rainbow. We use the mics several times a day. I have also purchased multicolor mic covers and adjustable mic stands which the kids love too. I recently had important district visitors observing my class and they were quite impressed that my little friends knew how to use a microphone, and that my friends get to use all this equipment to enhance their learning experience. Original Review: I purchased this cute little Masingo kareoke machine to use in my Dual Language PreK classroom. My students have classroom jobs & some require them to speak. Some are shy & some speak very softly. They love using the microphones! I have trained them how to hold the mic, speak into the mic and how to carefully set the mic back into the base. Using the microphone has given the shy ones confidence & a voice. The kids love the cute design. Because it looks like it has eyes & ears and it speaks in a female voice, we will be naming her. The speaking was a surprise feature! When you turn it on, you will hear a sweet voice saying "power on", "bluetooth connected" and "low battery". I'm not sure what her name will be, but I bet her name will begin with Princess! The mics are a little tricky. You have to hold the mics just right and close to your mouth or they tend to cut out. Other than that this Masingo Kareoke machine is a huge hit, the perfect addition to my classroom and a great investment of my personal funds to help grow my 21 future leaders and world changers! ... show more

This is an all around great speaker system for the money. The mics are dynamic and near professional quality. If you’ve ever used a mic on stage you know the feeling. They are very durable and, best of all, they can be cleaned. The speakers sound great and are perfect for those karaoke nights with your kids. Like others in the reviews have stated, this is absolute junk. I was hoping those reviews were isolated incidents but nope. On the second use the microphones stopped working. They show them being fully charged but they simply do not turn on or connect. There's no way to connect other external mics either so as others have stated at this point this thing is an overpriced bluetooth speaker. ... show more

The new one works great and my granddaughters are having a great time with it. One downside is it does not have a volume control that I could find. I recently purchased the MASINGO Karaoke Machine for both the kids and adults in our family, and while it has some appealing features, it falls short in a few areas. Here's a balanced review of our experience: Pros: Dual Wireless Microphones: The inclusion of two wireless microphones is a nice touch, allowing multiple people to sing together without tangling in cords. They have a reasonable range and work well within our living room. This machine is great and really livens up the party! The Bluetooth connectivity is easy and the sound quality is very clear. The mics are very easy to adjust their settings to how you want your voice to be heard and the life without being plugged in is wonderful. It’s nice that the mics will charge when docked, even without it being plugged in. It’s a great lil Bluetooth speaker, even when not using the mics as well.
