This stuff works! I dip a water soaked cotton round into the jar, spread the powder paste over my nose (on clean, dry skin), wait 10 minutes, rinse off, and enjoy the significantly less pronounced pores.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a snow cloud releasing the first snow of winter? Well, wonder no longer! I do not recommend eating while you wait for the 10 minutes of drying time to be up unless you quite enjoy the silver flavors of zinc and kaolin clay on your flavor blasted goldfish. I've read that both ingredients are good for clearing acne, so using a deep cleansing oil makes it hard to tell who did the harder work since both are for loosening blackheads and the like. If I have any further comment on how it works I'll edit and update my review. I have no complaints besides ^ so far though. The powder is loose and is filled all the way to the top of the canister, so there's no shortage of product for the price unlike other brands, so there's that too. So 53 yes old with comb skin all my life. Always have had blackheads in my nose and cheeks. Tried this based on reviews and I highly recommend this product. I was skeptical but after one use my nose was 98% blackhead free. Tried again one week later and seems to be working great. I didnt have very many this time around and my pores seem smaller and a lot cleaner. I do recommend buying their toner also and using some type of clean moisturizer afterword. I will continue with this as needed but and definitely going to try more of their products. Highly recommend!!! ... show more

    • It's working but difficult
So I am glad that I read reviews before I purchased, and the tip about adding the powder to the lid then mixing with water works much better. But I have a hard time getting it all off. It seemed like I was wasting more toner than it was beneficial. So last time I used it I rinsed it off with plain water, then washed my face with my balancing cleanser I have. That was the only way there wasn't a light filmy powder left on my face. like no matter how many times I swiped with a cotton ball saturated in toner, it left a film and I couldn't get it off. BUT it most definitely is removing black heads that I seem to have had my entire life on my nose and chin. So will continue to use. ... show more

    • Great product, takes some getting use to
Update 1/16/2020: so I have tried a couple more times since the original review, changing the 3 stars to 5. It definitely takes some getting used to making the right consistency with the powder and water, but once achieved, it's pretty awesome from there. I also found out that, the burning sensation is more because I did not apply enough water, once the consistency is right, there's no burning sensations anymore. One thing I'd say tho, if you end up making the mixture too thick, once it dries on your nose, powders will start coming off and get everywhere, and it's definitely not fun if you breath that into your nostrils. So far, I think the best way to describe the perfect consistency is watered down milk or rice milk, its not fully milk white, there is some watery colors, and it stays on the skin. Anything too light won't stay, and anything too thick will dry out and get everywhere. I definitely like the brand, and after reading the reviews I decided to give these powders a try. As mentioned in other reviews, it is way easier to apply with a small makeup brush after mixing the powder with some water. I tried it by the instruction the product gave, and there were excess powders everywhere. Once applied, I definitely felt my pores closing up, there is a "tight" feeling on the skin. However, I also felt mild burning sensation, people say "beauty comes with a cost", but I'm not sure that would apply in this case, the burning sensation stayed at all regions on my face that had the powdered (nose, but some got smeared onto my cheeks), and it stayed burning for quite some times after I've removed the powder. I ended up having to wash my face with cleanser and put on extra witch hazel toner to calm it down. I am not sure if this means I have sensitive skin? I've been treating my face as "combination" type for years (oily T zone, dry outside of T zone). Will give this product another try and update. ... show more

    • Excess oil or stubborn blackheads or both, I do suggest giving a try
I was unsure about this product at first, but the price was reasonable so I thought I would try it. I was shocked first with the amount of powder you get and it is only to be used twice a week. It says claims it controls oils in the T-Zone and help with stubborn blackheads, it is also to be used where you have problems with stubborn blackheads and oil. It does exactly as it claims when it comes to dry up the oils without drying out the skin where it becomes sensitive or get irritation. You remove it with your choice of toner (I use Mario Badescu Cucumber cleansing lotion, which removes excess oil at the same time Hydrating which is perfect for sensitive skin and choice of moisturizer). I have stubborn blackheads on ny nose which I have tried many of products and nothing has worked, but this I have noticed a difference in oil build up and pores shrinking in the area of the blackheads. It doesn't happen overnight seeing a change with blackheads especially stubborn ones. Within 2 weeks I started to notice a difference. Without the amount of product you get, and not much has to be used, Iam quite happy with it and will buy again when I do run out. Follow the instructions - they’re a little wonky but it WORKS. I have never ever ever found a product that pulls so much crap out of your face and leaves it feeling so soft and smooth - doesn’t burn or leave my skin feeling “abused” like most masks of this kind would. I’m a huge fan of silver in other homeopathic methods, so this one just made sense to me, from a brand I already trusted and enjoy using! For my own adult acne and for my beloved teenage kids, this is our absolute GO-TO skincare product!!! Bottom line - I would give it 10 stars if I could. ... show more
