    • Margarita Girl machine works great and does what it says it does!
This product functions and does not disappoint. We have had the machine and it works great for both frozen margaritas as well as other slushy drinks. The machine came in a good package that was easy to set up and use. The two best design functions of this product is that it is easy to clean and disassemble. There is minimal to no leaking around the unit and has a tray to collect condensation from the compressor and drink spout. Easy to make and add liquids to and also easy to drain for cleanup. I researched a lot of these before landing on this one and there were two main reasons that I went with this unit. First is that there are replacement parts and gaskets that both come with the unit and are available with an easy design to replace when they wear out. A lot of the other units you have to purchase an entire section of the machine to replace a gasket. The second it that the unit is easy to clean and assemble. Other units will not drain down all of the way which leaves a sticky mess to clean up. This unit has the drain spout at the low end of the bowl that allow you to drain all of the liquid out through the spout - easy!. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We have used the Margarita Girl machine several times. No major problems. One thing to look at is the bowl outlet at the dispenser. there is a sharp edge to it and I used some very fine sandpaper to round it off some. the gasket would get pinched even if you use the lube. once I did this we haven't had any problems. we also found if you make your mix and let it set in the refrigerator ahead of time that it takes less than 30 min and its ready to serve. The Machine is worth the price but now that we have been using it we should have purchased the double tank machine. Having two types of drinks at one time would be even better. ... show more

It's a slushie machine. What more can you say. Well, I'll tell you what more you can say. It's easy. It's easy to clean. It's easy to setup. It is a little heavy but that makes it feel really sturdy. It makes slush in no time, pour, turn on, and within 30-45 minutes you have a slushie machine in your house. The kids love it and my wife, and I top off the slush with 2oz of vodka or tequila and enjoy the night. Truly wasn't expecting it to be this nice and heavy duty, feels commercial grade. The only thing I would say is that it is for sure loud. We have it in the den in our basement but if it was in the bar where you're going to hang out it could probably be a little loud but eventually just disappear into the background noise. This machine works great for small gatherings. Love the consistency of the frozen drinks. The only thing that could be better would be an included recipe for this size machine for margaritas.

We have had a more commercial type machine for years that weighed 100,000,000 lbs so we hated moving it around for parties. This Margarita Girl is super light and easy to use. Make sure to give yourself about an hour or two to freeze your drinks depending on volume but it's worth the wait! The reservoir easily holds enough for a small party. Sometimes we make our own, sometimes we buy premade mix and it easily holds 2 bottles or more of premade mix (~1liter to 1.5liter per bottle totaling 2-3liters with room to spare). The only thing I like about my industrial machine over this machine is the spinning arms are vertical with the Margarita Girl instead of horizontal so mix sometimes gets stuck toward the back of the reservoir. So far, I have survived this dilemma and managed to regain access to my frozen drinks by tilting the machine slightly or getting a large spoon. :-) ... show more
