  • We just bought our 4th of these!
Color: Blue
There is a knack to putting them together, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty quick and easy. After fitting the bottom hook of one of the side rods into place, I put my hand on the top hook (using the surface between my thumb and forefinger/ball of my thumb) and use my bodyweight to bend it slightly until it can snap into place on the top. There are videos that can help you. I'm not great with my hands, but even I have no trouble putting these together and taking them down. They also pack small and light. We have a tent with a lot of headroom (Nemo Aurora Highrise 6P), but we've used them in a Marmot Tungsten 4P where there isn't a ton of headroom and they fit fine. There's not a ton of room underneath but there's enough to hold shoes, stuff sacks, and a variety of items that are nice to have out of the way. Dear hubby didn't like cots, but after a trip where the ground was sloped enough that he was sliding but the cots were keeping the rest of us secure, he changed his mind and agreed to have one of these for himself. He's about 5'11" and 225 and although it packs small and lightweight, the cot seems to hold him just fine. The kids (who use the Marmot) are in their 20s and able to trek farther and sleep rougher than us older folks. They're using these with plain old Therm-a-Rest RidgeRest classic pads. They've said their sleep is plenty comfortable. My husband and I are in our 60s and don't like to travel far from the car to the tent. ;-) We have Lost Horizon 4.5 inch Airsoft pads on top of these. I'm not sure it's actually "glamping" but it must be close. I've slept very comfortably indeed. ... show more

  • if you've come this far, buy it.
Color: Grey
Great find. Even for bigger campers. It is very study and makes almost no noise. I paired this with a self inflating mat. The duo are perfect but alone, the cot is great. This thing packs up so small leaving extra room for other gear. Easy to pack/unpack. Keeps me off the ground and very comfortable. Perfect for a low profile tent ... show more

  • Difficult to Assemble
Color: Grey
As a finished product it's great, reasonably comfortable and very lightweight. Assembly is straightforward and quite simple. The difficult part is getting each one of the support legs to grab onto the poles. My thumbs have never had a tougher workout. I needed two so my thumbs had double the workout. ... show more

  • Sturdy. Easy to assemble. Works fine for me.
Color: Green
Cot assembles easily -- just slide the two long poles into each long end of the mat, then attach the leg supports to the long poles at each hole in the mat. There are cutouts in the mat to show you where the legs hook to the long poles. Stand the cot up in front of you on its side, push one hook onto the pole on the bottom, then push down slightly on the leg to hook it to the top pole. Make sure to start in the middle of the cot, then move outward. I put a thin air mattress on top of the cot and it's very sturdy and comfortable for me at 5'5" tall and 150 pounds, even when sleeping on my side. The packed size is small enough that I plan to take it on motorcycle trips. ... show more

  • Perfect for car camping
Color: Grey
BACKGROUND: I took a risk on a last minute camping trip and decided to upgrade my comfort level. I have some back issues and no longer want to sleep on the ground. But I also value a compact and lightweight. COMFORT: I am very impressed with the comfort level of this cot. This keeps you about 4-5 inches above the ground which makes a huge difference if there is moisture or rocks under the tent. It is well designed and assembled so that the bedding is firm but has a little give for comfort. It feels very secure and doesn't creak or make any noise as you move around in it. I used it with and without an extra sleeping pad and didn't really notice a difference. UTILITY: The design helps with a little extra storage so I found I could tuck some extra clothing or grab bags under the cot at night. The compact size when disassembled makes it very easy to keep packed in my go-to tote with all my other camping gear. The only recommendation I would make is to put some padding under the 8 feet so that they don't dig into the bottom of the tent material. I didn't see any damage after 4 nights, but I imaging over time, it could cause a tear. ASSEMBLY: I had no trouble assembling, but it does take a little leverage to bend the support legs into place. I had to help my friend with hers, because it can be a bit tricky. I ended up buying two of these, and will be using them on all future car/camps. Not sure I would take the extra weight on a back-country back-packing trip, but it probably would be worth it. ... show more

  • Quick and Comfy
Color: Blue
This cot is perfect. Easy set up takes less than two minutes. The tough fabric is taunt and comfortable. My sleeping bag stays secure on the fabric and does not slide around. I think the other two nice features are the side pocket for cell phone and glasses and the small size when it's stored in its carrying bag. ... show more

Cot works great!! Light weight and easy to assemble. I actually packed it in my carry on when flying, it’s that lightweight and compact. I am only 5’7” and 170lbs of solid muscle and it was a comfortable sleep.

  • Nice Cot
Color: Army Green
Seems well made, and was easy to set up. It appears to be well constructed, and after several uses I see not signs of seams separating or other durability concerns. I found it to be comfortable enough for this 6’4” guy. Other reviews I had read said that the ends dip down where a person lays their head, and that is true but only slight. My simple solution was to place my folded sweatshirt under that area of the cot, and that was enough to solve that minor issue. So far I’m very satisfied with my purchase. ... show more
