I purchased a total of 4 I was surprised to see how big they are, however out of concern please clip the eyes off fish...or sew the eyes on tighter, the eyes are loose on these toys and may present a choking issue...I took the eyes off all four that I purchased and my furbabies love the toy ...note to the manufacturer maybe sew on cloth eyes or paint eyes on the fish never put small objects on a toy that could potentially harm an animal...anyway I solve the issue and my cats are having a good time. Took one fish out and my cat went crazy, he loved it!! The next day he stopped playing with it. When I opened the pack it was very catnip fragrant, the next day it didn’t really smell like catnip anymore. Cute, cat liked for a day then the catnip smell was gone :(

These fish are so sweet and adorable! Our cat loves catnip toys and just adores these fish. They're soft and well made. The stitching is nice and secure and the buttons are sewn on securely with thread. I like that they are made of two different patterned fabrics to differentiate the heads. The stitch tails are a nice touch as well. Our cat loves to bite and claw at her catnip toys and these are no exception. The fabric seems to be thick enough to hold up for a while and looks to be durable as far as cat catnip toys go. Cat lovers know what I mean. No catnip toy lasts forever, but these fish look like they should hold up for several months at least. I'll be keeping an eye on the button eyes, if they start to come loose, I'll be cutting them off. These fish are nearly 8 inches long and 3 inches wide, so they're a nice size for an adult cat or older kitten. One of the description photos mentions that they contain crinkle paper. The ones I received do not. My cat doesn't seem to care, so I haven't reduced the star rating. At $5.99, I find them to be reasonably priced. If you're looking for a soft catnip toy for your cat that's a bit larger in size (and don't mind that it doesn't crinkle), I recommend these catnip fish. As a side note, there is no indication in the description or packaging as to where these MAOZHUREN Catnip Toys Fish toys are manufactured. ... show more

My cat doesn't really respond to catnip. However, he really liked these fish. He did seem to smell something interesting about them, but immediately went into attack mode. He pounced on them and then held them in his mouth, his back legs going in the cat's instinctual way of breaking prey's necks. He found them fascinating, spent some time "killing" them, and then collapsed into a nap, with one of his new friends right beside him. These stuffed fish are nice toys for cats. They are a good size for pretend hunting and killing. Some other cat toys I've seen along the same lines are so big, the cat gets overwhelmed, even fearful. These are about the size of young bunnies. The colors--grey and mustard--are subdued enough that they don't stand out like sore thumbs on the living room floor. They are nicely designed and do what they are supposed to do--entertain an indoor feline by appealing to the hunting and killing, predator instinct. They seem sturdily made. My cat did his best to tear them apart, and they withstood the onslaught. I recommend these cat toys. ... show more

My cat loves these fish shaped plush toys! I don’t know if they contain catnip, but they way she acted about them I believe they contain something she likes. She immediately went crazy for them, and she likes to try to tear them up! They are safe, fun, and a good size for her to get her claws into.
