After about 8 months, I had an issue with the mechanism that holds the central post in place. I reached out to the seller and since it was still under warranty he quickly responded and immediately sent me a replacement. Had another brand of manual coffee grinder that broke. Thought I would try this one based on other reviews. I do a pour over every morning and use 20 grams of coffee. My previous grinder would take 3-5 minutes depending on how fast you cranked. This one takes less than a minute. The product is shipped in a nice box and protects the product well. The device is simple to use and I like because it is manual and everything comes out consistently well. From the selection to the grain of your ground bean grinds to the simple but effective cleaning regimen I find that is fits well into a daily coffee prep regimen that produces consistent and excellent coffee results. While I don't plan to travel with this device, I can imagine taking it somewhere would not be much of a hassle and should work equally well on a vacation, for example.
