This is one of the best investments I’ve done in a while. I’ve used a Walmart trimmer that I bought for $40 for the last year and a half, and it gave out on me. Here I am in Mar/22/2022, and I bought this and I can say I don’t regret it one bit. Costed quite a bit more compared to the $40, but it didn’t disappoint. If I had to compare to my old one, this is an upgrade for sure. Great product in my opinion. Here are some pro’s and con’s, but the con’s aren’t even that bad. Pro’s: Easy to use Clean cuts Safe protection on sensitive areas Long battery life with cordless charging dock LED lights to help hard to see places Cons: Not much trimmers to work with Takes a while to clean out hair, little brushes doesn’t do much NOTE: This is from my own personal experience, but I see a lot of reviews saying, “This doesn’t protect my genitals” or “This product is a lie! It nicks me every time!”. While I cannot speak for them, I will say that if you use it improperly, yes it will, but while I was being safe and careful, I started to have more confidence after how many times I thought I would nick it, just like I would with my old razor. Finished in half the time I would with my old one. This product DOES protect the sensitive areas, but if used improperly, then of course it’s gonna happen. I say look up your own info on how to protect yourself, but I can confidently say that this product lives up to its name. Definitely worth it. UPDATE: I retrieve what I said previously and give it back it’s 5 stars. I contacted customer service and found out that the new travel lock protects the trimmer from accidentally turning on while in transit. To control the travel lock, the trimmer must be off and then rapidly click the power button three times to engage or disengage. The battery wasn’t dead after all. PRIMARY REVIEW: I’m very disappointed in this. It stopped charging and working after less than 6 months using it no more than one a month. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing it because a lot of people complained about the same thing. ... show more

was disappointed with the treatment i got after buying this, it worked pretty well, HOWEVER just 14-16 months of having it, and this is after not using it as often as most people would per month, the battery died, or refuses to hold a charge even after being fully charged just a few minutes prior to use. i would charge it, and then use it for 2-3 minutes maybe, before it would suddenly be blinking saying the battery was on its last charge, i messaged and called about a replacement battery or some kind of fix, and they refused saying it wasnt within warranty or it was passed the time limit on refunds/replacements. this thing cost 100 bucks, and it cant even last up to 2 years? durability is really bad, i had an electric razer thats 10-15 years old and cost 60-70 bucks, and it still works to this day, quality is abysmal, its absurdly priced for the lifespan it has. went to reddit and im not the only one who has had their manscaped electric razor break on them within a year or 2 with no way to get a replacement, even with the more expensive kinds of razor. its really nice looking, easy to clean, removes hair pretty well, aside from that, its not worth it, spend your money on something more durable and has a longer lifespan. i used this razor sparingly, 2-3 times a month occasionally skipping a month or 2 here and there. and the battery still broke despite that, i wasnt dunking it in water even though its waterproof/resistant. ... show more

Mid use, my trimmer shut off suddenly and wouldn't turn back on. I thought the battery died so I tried to charge it and it still wouldn't turn on. This one lasted me two years. Not bad but I would like something better so I started researching what replacement to buy. Finally picked one and when it arrived I found that the blade was too wide to work well for me. So I looked up this one to see how wide the blade was. Then I noticed the "travel lock" feature. Tap the power button three times and locks. Could it be? Yep. I'm an idiot. Don't know how I engaged the travel lock, but I did. Tapped the button three more times and now I don't need a replacement. T.L.D.R. good product as long as you're not an idiot like me. ... show more

It’s rather nice. About 3-4 years ago I bought my husband the 2.0 version with the whole bundle that came with the bag and newspapers and everything. It had just died on us this year so I opted to get him this 4.0 and so far we like it way better, and the extra spotlight is handy too. Awesome for shaving and not getting nicks on the skin. It's not a bald shave but perfect for your private area...I use it on my under arm area too to avoid shaving bumps from original razors. Love it
