I purchased this product because as autumn hit my 7 mo old “ladies” began to lay wonky eggs, reverting back to very small eggs or wobbly shells. The number of eggs also dropped a bit, which is to be expected. However, after adding the Manna Pro Egg Booster to their laying crumbles, the eggs started coming steady again within about 24 hours and are huge! Some of the biggest single yolk eggs they have laid to date. I’m sure it is because of this product because I ran out for about a week and the egg size dropped right away. Its pretty amazing results.     • A must have for the girls!
This is a winner! So I've always hesitated to buy this thinking it was expensive feed, but I was wrong. I have had a young chicken who has been eating a ton of calcium (oyster shells) and laying me brittle eggs with calcium deposites all over. She is one of our favorite chickens and it was aweful to see her egg production go down and her start to lay soft shelled eggs. I knew something was missing from her diet and she needed a boost after the long hard winter we had. I came across this and started to read other review of people who were having the same issues. Once I saw this was more like a supplement and not feed I was even more elated knowing this would be good for my whole flock and last a while. And it was worth every penny. By the time I got my bag my girl had complety stopped laying after 2 soft shelled eggs. I dumped a couple table spoons right on top of the feed and it was gone by the next morning, so I knew the girls liked it. And the next day I say a beutiful blue egg from my girl that was having issues. It was the best egg she had ever layer me. Still some calcium deposites, but the brittle ceramic sound the shells usually make was gone. The whole flock is eating it and egg production is way up even despite our cool rainy spring. I am sold on this an will continue to feed it to my flock from now on. Happy to report my girl has been laying perfect blue eggs with almost no calcium desposites. My old gals are even laying me eggs daily wich has always been an everyother day event for them. Amazing product!!! Oh and the eggs look and taste amazing! ... show more

    • OMG this stuff works
My birds had not been laying, even with spring coming on. I started using this for my ten hens. After a week, they were back to laying. I got 4 eggs. Then 6. Now I get 7-8 daily. They love eating it, and the eggs are thick-shelled and beautiful. I'm not so easily wooed over a product, but my ladies are getting this for as long as they are laying age. ... show more

    • Yolks are tastier!
This product definitely improved the flavor and color of the yolks. It did not increase the yield however as the seller said it would. I will still continue to use it though because it may be that I haven't used it long enough to get increased yield. The omega-3 oils in it will make the eggs more nutritious as well. ... show more

I truly believe this product kick-started my 20 hens into a spring laying pattern. After a couple of days, they went from 5-7 eggs daily up to a new cruising range of 13 to 17. I will definitely buy it again.

    • Great improvement for our flock
While the product ordered is a great improvement for the overall health of our hens, the package inside the undamaged Amazon box was cut on the bottom. We will not request any return but need to mention the lacking of Amazons personnel packing quality control or close attention to ingredients of items they ship their customers. When we first tried this product for our flock of hens, within a week the hens feathers and other features were viably brighter, fuller and looking healthier all over. The hens even acted happier, and as a bonus gave us improved egg production and harder shells. We recommend this product to our neighbors who also have chickens. Great Product! ... show more
