This is a very cute little book, size is great, however for little hands, more sturdy (I feel) is better for the age range (6-9 mo) that we are in. I love the little Pom Pom & Llama inside! The latch to open/ close is impossible w/ little hands & something that crinkles or squeaks would have been a great add to keep the babe interested or to make her pick it up on her own. This is one of my 4 month old favorites! Very colorful and has a lot to look at plus all the textures. The Llama even has a squeaker which is a lot of fun! Great gift to grow with baby. I use it for mine to look at when I prop her up for tummy time!
