This took me, about 1.5-2 hours to put together alone. I did make a mistake before I learned how the digrams worked, but was able to fix it before moving forward. I will say that the instructions require some logical inference to understand. I don't think everyone would have an easy time with them, but once I got it, it was easy enough to continue. Punching the hole out of the back panel was that absolute worst part. I had to sit there and carve at it with a box cutter then an exo knife. It finally came out, but not very cleanly. I wish they would just pre-cut it. I did require help to flip the entertainment center over at one point, but in a pinch, I'm sure I could have managed on my own. It is *very* hefty. First off, this tv stand is beautiful and modern. It’s huge, and if put up correctly, it is sturdy. I have high ceilings in my house. I dont think it would look right in a small space. Cons: It took two skilled adults 4 hours to put together. The directions were not great and the parts were hard to find. Also, it is extremely heavy and can be dangerous if not put up correctly. We ended up having to hire a tv mounting company. It took them from 12:30-5 to hang it properly and mount the tv. Keep in mind that we reached out to several companies and a lot of places wouldn’t hang it because of the size. It cost us $250 to get it mounted. Pros: It’s sleek, sturdy, and modern. If you plan on being in your house for awhile, it’s worth the investment . ... show more

I used the YouTube video to assemble this and it was straightforward and easy. I only needed a Phillips screwdriver (used my cordless drill with a Phillips bit) and a hammer. I did it by myself in about 2 hours. I took my time so I wouldn’t have rework. I strongly recommend using the video. I paused it after watching each step. As for style, this is fabulous. I’m changing my accents to MCM as my furniture is MCM. The lines are sleek and clean. The entire stand is substantial and doesn’t feel or look cheap. I love the off white color. Someone remarked that the legs and wood inserts don’t match, but mine are a perfect match. I have zero complaints with this TV stand. I used Velcro to group the cords together and bind them up in the back. I still need to use some adhesive Velcro to attach the power strip to the back to hide it as well. My sound bar fits perfectly in the shelf underneath, leaving the top shelf free for the TV and a few other things. My sound bar is 35” long and that space is 41” long, so it will accommodate a fairly long sound bar. I can’t wait to finish the MCM vibe in my living room. This is my first step in refreshing my living room this summer. I’m so happy with this purchase. ... show more

As was said in many different reviews, the assembly is not easy and takes time. We made common sense modifications to fit our wall. We moved all the brackets to be placed on our studs. Our wall was also not completely flat so we moved some of the stabilizers. We also moved the bottom shelving to be right above the outlet. We purchased a separate TV mount and also screwed the mount into the studs to ensure everything is strong and stable. We split up the assembly into 2 work sessions - the bottom shelf assembly and mounting on one night. And then the assembly and mounting of top part and the TV the next day. My dad-in-law is an experienced carpenter so that helped us immensely. The work paid off - it is a very solid entertainment center and looks expensive. It makes that wall look like a feature wall and the fact that it's off the floor is great for kids. No toys/clutter stuck behind or under the entertainment center and its easy to clean. We have more space in our living room too! Highly recommend! ... show more

It’s a beautiful piece but It was sorta hard to set up. It is very good quality and extremely heavy. I have a 70 inch tv and I wasn’t sure how it would work with my tv but it looks great and I’m obsessed with it. If your thinking of buying it get it 😊

We ordered this product after a similar one was on backorder. First off, this behemoth of an entertainment center, took about 20 hours over 2 weeks to put together. The pieces themselves were easy enough to put together, but mounting the thing was ridiculous. The mounting brackets are not standard 16"-32" apart, so we couldn't drill them directly into the studs. Instead we had to mount boards to the studs and mount the brackets to the boards. After the top part, we measured as best as we could and put the bottom up. It didn't fit in correctly.. so we drilled again and again it didn't fit right. After a few times of taking the top up and down we finally got a semblance of what it's supposed to look like. Everything was level and sitting on the hinges correctly, but still the gap was crooked. The shelf also wasn't sitting flat because the spacers provided were too short. We Jimmy rigged some more spacers and "fixed" the gap with cardboard. We also had to put a long screw right theough the middle into the drywall. Wouldn't buy again unless I could pay someone to put it up for me. Looks amazing, though! ... show more

This is gorgeous! Absolutely what we were looking for in quality and design. Be aware the directions are less than helpful, but we got it assembled in a couple of hours.
