It’s more than a cheap “cooking oil” but definitely less than a great (and probably more expensive) “finishing oil” With some herbs & salt it could be alright for dipping bread into but not recommended, at least not by my palate. I’m no connoisseur either, but I wonder if the leaky packaging is maybe indicative of subpar storage/delivery?.. That could maybe explain my gripes on product quality but idk, unfortunately I won’t be repurchasing to find out ... show more

I think that the extra virgin olive oil I tried immediately before this one spoiled me because it was so mild. In comparison, this one is slightly bitter. After using it a few days, though, I barely noticed the bitterness anymore.
