This saddle is high quality. I was not expecting much from a no-name generic saddle, but this one exceeded expectations. The color was "as pictured", and the leather was thick and of good quality. This does ship on the slow boat from India, so expect it to take a couple months to arrive. My only complaint was that the latigo was rather short, and was too short for my 14 hh mustang. It was easily solved by swapping out the latigo for a longer Weaver one. The people at my stable were super impressed with the look and quality and could not believe the saddle was under $400. Okay, yes it is a cheap saddle. Quality control is not great, one side of the bottom skirt was screwed in well, the other side was not. Due to the struggle of the maker, there were 4 or 5 screws instead of just the two or three. Due to the price of the saddle, you will have to oil the leather………. A lot. Before I could finish oiling, it was dry and ready for a second. In one sitting I oiled this thing four times before I had to let it dry. By doing so I actually got a darker richer color which is more appealing anywho. I probably got approximately 8 all around oil applications to it in two days and it still needed more. It also soaked up water extremely fast when I turned the stirrups (Colorado twist, not a broom stick mold). Would I recommend this saddle: If you are looking for a saddle to just ride for a few hours down a trail or in the arena, yes, this saddle will work just fine. With the right pad and or shim with the pad this will fit most horses. The latigo provided is not long enough and the front cinch should not be used. Also the reigns provided shouldn’t be used until you oil them quite a few times. The head stall is personal preference….. I don’t like it and will not be using it. I would also replace the stirrups and the front cinch off billet (get a half breed off billet). Don’t use the breast collar until you’ve gotten it and the attachment straps well oiled. Mine had cracks in the straps and oiling didn’t do the trick so I scrapped it anltogether and put a different three piece breast collar on there. I would not rope on this saddle. Or do any hard labor on this saddle. I wouldn’t trust the tree to hold up against actual work being done or competitive roping. Obviously if you are doing this for a living or competitively, you’re not even reading this review……..right????? If you are, stop it and just spend the money on a saddle that will last you a lifetime. If you are extremely hard pressed on money, these saddles will work for a bit. However, take the price of this saddle and put it towards a corriente. For this price you can pay for a corriente to start being built. By the time the saddle is built you should be able to set aside the second half of the price of the saddle. ... show more

Needed a larger size for my brother in law , so having option up to size 18 was great, many saddles only offered size up to 15 He liked the quality and all the needed assessories Were included Needed a part for the saddle and was able to have it shipped. Came earlier than expected too.

    • Comfortable ride for a bigger girl

Our family likes to take full day rides. Now that it's broken in a bit, both the horse and rider are very happy with the shape and feel of this saddle. Any hesitancy we had buying a saddle online has been put aside. We will definitely look at this brand in the future.
