It’s okay it works for what it is it’s very light tho and gets hot fast if on subs I bought it just to mess around with its better for like door speakers but if your on a budget it will push 2 1000w 12s decent depending on how you wire it and the box

I bought this to pair up with a new Skar loaded 8in enclosure (came pre-wired to 1ohm, I re-wired it to 4ohms, final impedance is 3.5ohms). The amp itself works fine, bumps the 8 like crazy, but all the tuning knobs are WAY out of alignment to the holes they're mounted behind. For everyone having protect mode issues, CHECK THE OWNER'S MANUAL. I had put one RCA into an input socket and the other just to the right into an output socket. I could tune the amp to work pretty good up until really hard hits then straight into protect. I finally decided to check the manual and it clearly shows they should be in the left column, not side by side. Once I swapped that RCA it runs perfectly. I also noticed a fella who posted a pic of a single twelve wired to a single when it should be bridged, he also needs to rewire it in series if its a 2ohm dvc sub. Something also kinda strange was the manual states wiring the sub up at 4ohms gives you the full 800w? I thought it it would halve the rms output? Hmmm... I still may buy another one of these for my truck but I'm definitely going to shop around a little. ... show more

As you can see in this picture I have the amp all wired correctly I have ran the power wire from the battery with a 50 amp fuse and I have the amp grounded under my seat it works perfectly until on certain songs when the bass is to much the amp will go into protect the description for this amp clearly says 800 watt max peak at 2 ohms I’m currently running a 500 watt max 12in skar at 2 ohms in a enclosed box for the amp to go into protect mode every time the bass hits sounds very suspicious to me ... show more
