I loved that I could apply this at home and not have to sit in the salon for 45 minutes. I ordered this for my daughter who is on a swim team. I could tell a huge difference in her hair after using 1 packet. It creates a paste and you work it into the hair and I even took a wide comb to help gently comb it thru her wet hair. I purchased disposable shower caps and had her sit with it on her hair for a good 30 minutes and then let her rinse it out in her shower. I never booked a Malibu treatment at the salon to save time and money. When I showed my stylist of over 15 years the packet; she kindly confirmed for me that is was exactly what they order and use on swimmer’s hair. If you are looking for a product to get the green out of blond hair this is it!!!! I will have to take a before and after picture next time. My daughter has blond hair and we have a mineral based frog system in our above ground pool but that means the minerals specifically the copper in the pool turns her hair bright green!!! We have discovered that this is the BEST product to get that green out. We tried to buy product for the pool the first year to try and get the minerals out of the pool but it still turned hair green and cost even more.
