My hair stylist gave me a pkg to try. The first application, I used the entire pkg and I'm not kidding, it did burn my scalp in areas that I scratch alot. I rinsed it out after 2 or 3 min and the burning stopped. The miracle was my scalp didn't itch all week! I used half of it the following week, burned maybe 10% of what it did the first time. I suffer from dry scalp and flakes that don’t respond to any shampoos or hair oils. I read reviews on this and decided to give it a try and when I tell you my hair and scalp have never felt so clean! A lot of people complained about burning but I only experienced very mild tingling. My hair is soft, breezy and my scalp is so clean and fresh feeling. I will most certainly be buying this again as maintenance to keep things fresh and clean. I started having a super dry scalp for the past couple months — never happened to me before. I used this, based on a review I used just 1/3 of the packet at a time. I definitely saw a little more and more improvement each time. However I also started using the dove dermacare scalp relief shampoo at the same time, so could be that that helped or maybe a combo of both! It DOES burn but only for the first minute or two. This does lather so make sure to do that before applying to get the most out of it. Leaves your hair and scalp feeling cleaner than ever. Removes a lot of buildup and my hair feels great afterwards. Unscented which is a plus!

Ordered the 3 pack, and for each pack the powder was nearly solid & the Vitamin C over-oxidised, causing it to become orange sludge when water was added. $15 wasted- I need a refund
