Right now these are my favorites hand files. I’ve tried several different ones so far and I’ve found these to have the best grit and they have reasonable longevity. What I mean by the best grit is they don’t leave your nails shredded, they file cleanly - like a sharp knife VS a dull one.

I bought some really harsh nail files meant for acrylics thinking they were good for natural nails. I've been looking for ones that are good and gentle for natural nails and stumbled upon these. So far these have been great. I use them on my hands when there's a sharp edge and my glass nail file is out of reach. These are great for my toe nails that are thicker. My nails look good and grow nicely. They file nicely and aren't very harsh/sharp. I like to travel with a good nail clipper and file and since glass files are fragile these will be great to keep on me. ... show more

Used with gel nails to remove gel polish and buff down myself. They're very sharp at the edges and will cut the cuticles. However, they're extremely useful in taking off bulk and thickness. One file lasted me a full 10 nails removing a lot of bulk, with plenty of use left on it. These will last a long time. But... be careful around the cuticles. They HURT when you scrape the skin and will leave little cuts if you're not careful. I wish these things would come with guards on the edges! ... show more
