The double grit file is perfect for shaping my nails (I use the 180 side for that) and the pale blue file works great to soften out the edges. I purchased this product because I’m always doing my nails however there were so many that came into the bag that I needed some thing to sand inside my sink because my eyelash glue got stuck to my sink so this happened to help me sand the eyelash glue off my sink I love the product. I only use one item to sand it off and I’ve got so many left over for future uses nothing has fallen apart. They’ve been able to take water. i ordered these a year ago and still have 5 in great condition. the step file rips easily on long sharp nails so i recommend only using on your natural nail and not a plastic/poly/acrylic one
