These are good for gel products even hard gels. But I wouldn't recommend for acrylic just because they would wear down if you used them a whole lot during your application. If you were to use them to shape/lightly touch up, I could see them not being to bad. But Even with gels I go through a buffer and file with each set. So great for at home and personal use!
