I've had this Smith Machine for over a month and after using it at least 5 times a week this is what I can say. The shipment was fast with the exception of a package that was lost, but it was enough to talk to the seller who kindly replaced the box that was missing. If you buy the set that does not have the bench and bumper discs, there are 5 boxes in total. The installation took me just over 4 hours, it is better to use your own tools because the ones included are not very good. I did it myself but the ideal is to have someone to help you. The instructions are simple but there is nowhere to get lost. I received one or another scratched piece as a result of the movement in the shipment but nothing serious that needs a return. Once assembled, the Smith Machine is quite solid and due to its weight it does not move when you work on it. The pulley system is very versatile and being able to place them in any position in the vertical allows you to do many types of exercises. The Smith bar fulfills its function although I would have liked it to go lower as in other similar machines. It doesn't seem noisy to me as someone put in another review. If you want to use the J-Hooks it comes with, it is better to buy a 7 foot Olympic bar since the 6 foot one will not fit you because it is very short. In general terms I love this machine, it fulfills its purpose due to its great versatility, it lets me do all my exercise routine and the truth is that I would not change it for anything, I am very happy with it.     • Great Machine. A little tricky assembly.

I ordered this machine on June 13th, expecting it to be delivered on June 22nd or 23rd. To my surprise, most of it (4 boxes) came on Saturday, the 17th. This was a little problematic in that I was out of town. The remaining 2 boxes came over the next two business days. Putting the machine together was not too tough but the directions are not the best. One example of a couple of challenges I faced, was putting the brackets for the smith machine, onto the barbell. I needed to take the ends off of the barbell. This was not indicated in the directions. I also used a high-level overview video on YouTube that helped. It would have been helpful if the physical parts were labeled with the letters indicated in the direction. It might also be helpful to know which box the part would be found it. All in, it took a few hours to do and I was able to do it alone. The machine seems very sturdy and it seems like it will last. The price of I paid included shipping, which based on the size and weight of the boxes, could not be cheap. I think the price I paid was reasonable. ... show more

We are very pleased with the SML07 smith machine. The build quality is sound. The cage has no issue with weight when doing heavy lifting. Very well balanced. The Barbell is sold with good grip. Pulley system is very smooth with light or heavy weight. You can adjust Pulleys to different levels to preform multiple exercises. The Landmine attachment has good rotation when using barbell. The cage holds very well when using the pull-up or parallel bars. No issues with cage shifting or shaking when preforming exercises. The cage has a good footprint to be able to preform exercises inside and out of machine. Also has four pegs in back for plate storage. Plus comes with multiple attachments. Assembly was fairly simple. About four hours with little assistance. Cons- one box was lost in transit and another box was missing a part. Major Lutie Fitness customer service was quick to send replacements. Had issue with rubber ball & shields on end the cables sliding down when preforming low pulley exercises. Advised by CS too use nylon zip ties to hold in place. Overall we are very happy with the SML07 and their customer service. ... show more

I just received and assembled the SML07. It's a really nice and sturdy rack for the price. The pulleys and smith machine feel nice and smooth. I'm excited to use it for a full workout. The packaging that it came in was pretty good. However the package that was holding all the bolts broke in the box and the bolts were all throught the box. Luckily none of them were lost. It took me about 4 hours to put together. It went together pretty easily, but I think some of the steps in the guide are out of order. I ended up having to take some bolts out to install some later parts. All in all it's a good product and I'm excited to use it. ... show more
