These smell BEAUTIFUL! There’s a soft feminine deep complexity to it that is just utterly alluring. I love the pink musk more than the white musk, but they are beautiful mixed together as well. Definitely great to have in your collection!

Ok, first time buying this product. I'd give it a five star based on scent. Not sticky. The pink is stronger than the white. The pink is more floral, warm, sexy. The white is very light, soapy, fresh. I wish the white was heavier scented. Um for 20 dollars the bottles should be full. Look at how mine came and I literally only place a dot on my skin for sample of each. The bottles need to be filled to capacity for the price. And it came all the way from LA. I'm in Tol Ohio. So I anticipated. I will say together, they smell devine. I can't stop smelling my arm, lol. I will buy again, as a lover of oils. Please make sure our products are full when sending. Thanks. Jan. 17, 23 Pink came. It's a full bottle!!! Yaaaaas. And Maison d' orient was nice enough to add in additional samples of Pearla*Nera scents. Love it. These oils smell amazing. The scent is more like a very strong heavy 60's perfumed powder with the slightest scent of musk only at first. The slight musk scent quickly fades into the strong heavy 60's perfumed power scent. See photo for a size comparison. These were a purchase recommendation from an IG scent lady that hasn’t failed me yet. They are super thick and long lasting. After 8 hours I can still smell them both faintly when worn. However the Musk Tahara (white) is my favorite out of the pair. It has a much more powdery scent to it, with a very very faint floral hint. More soft and feminine. Subtle. And excellent with layering other scents. The Pink Musk (pink) has a more flowery tone. I would say it’s a true floral. Doesn’t work well with my other scents for layering, they all match closer to the white, but stand alone I think it’s the stronger of the two. Also thicker. I put too much on my first time and 12 hours later I still smelled good. How can you tell you put too much? Your skin shouldn’t be sticky. The oil should just kind of.. melt into your skin eventually. My skin just had that sticky feel even after washing. Start small!! Both scents I would say are feminine. And with my body chemistry they work really well. ( I also ordered a discovery set of their unisex perfumes, and that is a true mix of unisex scents. Lasts between 4-8 hrs. ) I also received a hand written post card as a thank you. Even if it’s a mass written one, someone had to take the time to get a hand cramp if they do it in batches. Very impressed for the price I paid for the longevity of them. These are also the perfect size to get into scents if you’re new, or if you’re like me, you just like to smell good for yourself. They don’t take up any room and truly a little goes a long way. They’re glass bottles so I don’t think they’re great for travel on a plane, but if you could keep them in a carry on possibly. ... show more

    • Divine pink musk fragrance..
Scent: Pink Musk (12mL)
I've been delving into the mysterious world of Arabian fragrances for the past few months. At the time I had purchased three different parfums prior to this one but after reading the notes of this one, I knew that Maison d'Orient Pink Musk was a must have! It's quite a small bottle, but I already knew that I was purchasing an oil.. which generally comes in smaller crafted batches. The consistency is unbelievably creamy and luxurious, it is not comparable to a baby oil in any way.. much more lux and is creamy pale pink in color. The application is with a wand, which is nice especially when applying to the "pulse points". It does take several moments to dry down as you certainly would not want to smear this on your body. I let it sit for a few moments and lightly pat it into my skin as not to disturb it's fragrance properties. The fragrance itself is quite intense at first, then when it settles it becomes softer. It really is a beautiful scent, and I personally LOVE a strong scent that carries with me. Unfortunately, this is where the 3 stars come in and that's because after maybe an hour&half I can barely smell it. Really quite disappointing. However, if you happen to lightly drag the wand across your clothing, the smell lasts a bit longer. Its not what I was hoping for, lasting power is very important to me regardless of price point. Ugh .. this is such a nice musky scent and am bummed about it. BUT with my order they kindly sent a very tiny sample of their White Musk, which is just as luxurious and creamy as the pink, just White - the scent of the White Musk is gorgeous, creamy, luxurious and in my opinion, better than the pink and lasts a few hours on the skin. So of course I will purchase the White Musk and will continue to use the Pink Musk as my after shower cozy evening fragrance. The White Musk is where it's at!! ... show more
