I am not very much into giving reviews on any product I buy online but this time the quality of this product and its functionality calls for it. Buying this Chair Lift for me has been a tremendous help and a game changer in the care I provide for my husband. I was surprised how well this device work because is like having a portable small elevator from the floor to a sitting position available to you when you need it! I never expected to find this innovative and well-made product in the market when I started to shop for some aids or techniques to help someone who has fallen or slide to the floor to stand up with the least of the efforts from them or the helper or care giver. This is a product that really works, well built and very easy to handle. It is more than a blessing if the person who needs to stand up help themselves to be positioned on the chair but if that is not the case it cost little effort for you and any care giver to sit him or her on the Chair Lift since it has 2 extended ramps to the side that facilitates that person to be positioned on the Chair. It is easy to carry, though a little bit heavy, any regular standard size person can handle it with ease. The Chair Lift It is definitely a high quality, durable product with very sturdy material used in its fabrication. It is a definitely a plus especially with respect to accessibility, safety and care-giving in general. I have used it sometimes for my husband when he slides to the floor and can’t get back up. The caregiver and I positioned him back into the Chair Lift and he was up in his feet in not time! Definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend this product. It saves me time, it gives me a peace of mind knowing I can handle falls in case I need it, it gives me independence from external help and has made my life more stress free knowing that I can help my husband in an easy and safe way.     • Very Handy Lifting Device!
Works as expected. If a person can assist in raising his/her butt off the floor at least an inch( or be assisted to do so) this is a wonderful device to help anyone get up off the floor, out of a tub or shower, etc. if they have difficulty, or cannot get up after a fall or slide to the floor. My only desire if I could have designed it myself, would have been to have some sort of attached( or built in) handrail or holding device to hold on to when the lifting occurs. Easy to charge and clean. It’s not very heavy, but it is a bit awkward to transport for an 80 year old female who also has MS! So, I purchased an inexpensive “luggage holder, rolling cart “ and attached it on it. No longer an issue to move from room to room. Have used it for my husband after a night time fall and it was great. I can easily get myself on and off it by myself(during practice sessions I’ve done to familiarize myself with its operation.) This thing is great. What a life saver... Purchased it two weeks ago, hoping never to use it but that lasted until now. Despite being next to everything in the bathroom, wife fell and I got her up in less than 10 minutes (most of that time was spent in positioning it). Love it. I bought this chair lift because I am handicapped and take a fall now and then and I can't get up without help anymore as I get older. Unfortunately both my wife and I are in our mid sixties with no children and the chair lift is more heavy and bulky than we anticipated making it difficult if not impossible for us to use or move it any distance away. Being a retired engineer I solved the mobility issue by buying a folding luggage carrier on Amazon (see link below) that works perfect for easily moving the chair lift to where it is needed with the only lifting being on or off the luggage cart.     • Incredible life saving device that is easy to use
This electric chair lift is a great assist for those of us who fall frequently and need help getting up into a chair. I had to use my new lift last week. I fell, crawled over to where I keep the lift, opened it up (chair back opens and seat lies on the ground). I put my tush on the seat and hit the remote control button. I was then slowly lifted to 20 inches off the floor in the sitting position. I then could grab my chair across from the lift and put myself in a chair. No need to call anyone to help, no lying on the floor until I called someone over, no need to call 911 for an assist. This device is worth every penny I paid. It comes assembled and is made of a sturdy plastic. Weighs about 48 lbs, I'm 5'2" with muscle disorders and can handle it. I do store it in the laying down position so all I have to do is open the back and slide in., I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. ... show more

Does what it says - lifts 200 lbs+ Once up - can walk right off or slide onto chair. Great for when bad knees suddenly don't work. Best when someone else can fetch it -- but good placement would help. Great if you spouse can't lift you. Well made. Would reccommend.

I love this! Thankfully we haven't had to use this too often but I am so grateful that it works perfectly when we do. I could never lift my husband off the floor by myself and he no longer has the strength to help himself so even though it is a little heavy for me to carry to where he falls it is certainly worth the effort.
