    • Good Solid Replacement
Perfect fit on my 2013 JGC, easy to install if you are mechanically inclined. If not, just check out a You Tube video. Buy the Mopar Coolant on Amazon while you are at it. You will lose some when disconnecting hoses. Member to cover up you engine belts before removing any hoses or loosening bolts.

Purchased Feb, 2024. Received exact OEM Mopar by Mahle (Mahle is the supplier of this part for Mopar, but because this part is sold directly to consumers by Mahle, the Mopar part number and logo seem to have been simply grounded off). A Mahle tag is visible on the side and a cast-in Behr branding is still visible on top of the housing (to my best knowledge, Behr has been bought out by Mahle). Notably, this part is not made by MotoRad, I know the MotoRad part very well, as I had it before, but this one is not it, this one is by Mahle. These OEM Thermostat were on national backorder for a while, so I bought it as a spare part to have it on my shelf in case needed. So I have not installed it yet, but given it is OEM, I trust it will work just fine. ... show more

    • Excellent Replacement
I installed this on my 2013 Dodge Durango 3.6L Pentastar. It literally took me 10 minutes to change this out. The housing fit perfectly, the seal was tight with no leaks and all I had to do was move the Intake Plenum to the side, remove the upper radiator hose, remove the old thermostat housing, then replace. It's that easy! Driven for 2 weeks now with no leaks and no issues with overheating. Thanks! ... show more

    • Works fine, still not 100% sure...
A few things are off about this unit, but the most unusual thing is now, after installing, there is an occasional beeping noise coming from the engine bay (2013 Jeep GC Limited). Temps seem normal but the beeps are odd.

    • Goodbye engine light! Worked great for my 2016 JKU
This looks very similar to the Chrysler OEM unit. I could not confirm this due to the fact that the emblem was 'removed'. However it performed like it should and fixed the coolant temp under range error code. These vehicles are very touchy about coolant temperatures. I could not detect any issues with my old unit but there must have been something wrong because replacing it with this unit resolved my issue. I would buy this again without any worry. ... show more

... and had to replace the thermostat with a genuine Mopar which solved the problem. Not sure if this was just a bad part or counterfeit or what, but I'll stick with Mopar in the future.

    • Solved the overheating problem on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited
I was have problems with my keep overheat when ever I drove it up a long grade on the interstate at typical highway speeds. It would also overheat climbing a grade at slower speeds. I was told to replace the thermostat with an OEM part. The Mahle OEM thermostat solved the problem.
