For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

  • Fun job! Perfect fit!
This was a perfect fit for my 2005 Chysler town and country. It is a fun job to do and have accomplished! When you open the hood, you cannot even see the radiator. I had watched several videos on you tube and that gave me the confidence to do the job. The trim on top that hides the radiator comes off easily. The two cooling fans are each held by one bolt on the top and a slot on the back of the radiator, so they lift right out. The oil cooler is in front of the radiator, and it sit's in a holder on the bottom front of the radiator. It has a release on the top that is hard to reach, but can be released with your fingers. It has to be moved up to release it, and leaned forward a little. The rubber side screens have to be removed to give you max room. The hoses are like any radiator hose, but I recommend new hose clamps that are adjustable. I liked that most work can be done standing in front of the car. I had to get underneath to drain the radiator, remove the splash guard, and to do the lower hose. I replaced the thermostat also. That takes a larger hose clamp. The radiator does not just lift out by lifting it up. Don't force it up! Take your time and work it around obstructions, and it comes out. ... show more

  • TYC radiator does the job
I had bought this radiator back in 2018 for my Chrysler minivan after the original radiator started to leak from the seam. I had no issues with it at all. Due to no fault of the radiator, I had to replace it again. Evidently exploding cooling fans are a thing with these vans after say 150k miles or so. Cooling fan blade cracked and exploded and cut through the radiator. Again, no fault of the radiator, was still working great. So another new one, new fan assembly and van is back working again. It is a quality built product and worth the money. ... show more

  • Fits 2006 Town and County with modification
Need to cut off the metal pegs from the top in order to install the radiator, other than that it's a perfect fit. Easy to install and held pressure.

  • Works well.
Replaced my old radiator with this new one I've got from Amazon and do far works very well. At a bargain price compared to brick and mortar stores. Very well made and designed. Plug and play.

  • Fantastic, even though first one was broke
The first one turned out to have a cracked tank. Bummer, but even bunnies die brand new sometimes. The packaging was great and no damage to the box. The second radiator was fantastic and both of them were delivered a day earlier than expected! Totally painless return and replacement process. The radiator itself seems well built, equal to the original, and comes with everything needed except the little clip nuts that hold the fan shroud on and a radiator cap. (Be sure and replace the cap, they are a wear item and do go bad. New radiator or new thermostat, get a new cap!) Much better than some suppliers. The fit was perfect in my 2006 Grand Caravan. For an inexperienced mechanic with basic tools, this is maybe a three hour job. A pro can probably do it in half that. Being a former pro and not in a big hurry, it was about a two hour job for me. That includes draining and refilling. All in all, I'm very happy, especially with the end result of getting a bad one first. This kind of service will bring me back again! Thanks Amazon and thanks to the supplier of this radiator (TYC??) ... show more

  • Great product and perfect fit. Went right in!
Arrived in great shape. Very good packaging. I installed it today in my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 liter V6. No problems and no leaks. I went ahead and got the two-year warranty, but even so I saved $110 over the cheapest radiators at my local parts stores. Even adding new hoses and a high-end $25 thermostat, I saved $330 over the lowest shop bid I got. Appears to be very good quality and a well-built replacement for the failed factory unit. FYI - comes with a bar across the top which I removed with just four bolts... apparently for earlier model years. I had to take and re-use two small clips and cap off the old radiator, and the top and side rubber shields, but other than that this was complete. All the tools I needed were #10 and #13 sockets, knife for removing old hoses, phillips screwdriver, slotted screwdriver for removing and opening plastic fasteners, and channel lock pliers. There is a great video on YouTube which walks you through the entire process. ... show more

  • Great price for direct fit radiator. Same part # as major retailer, half the price.
My radiator tank began to leak on the drivers side of my 2006 Chrysler Town and Country, Base model 3.3L. I nearly purchased the same part number from a local auto parts store (national chain), for 3X the price of Amazon. Had it delivered next day. I misdiagnosed my leak as having come from a leaking intake manifold gasket. I replaced the gasket and still had water pooling on my garage floor. The radiator went in yesterday, and I am happy to say, the pool on my garage floor has dried up. The plastic tanks on these radiators will all eventually fail. The argument could be made that a more expensive radiator may last you longer. It's a simple repair, and I do not foresee that this radiator will fail before I sell this vehicle within the next 5 years. This radiator is a direct fit. Save your money, buy this radiator. Compare the part numbers with the major parts stores. ... show more

  • It looked good on first inspection but after a closer look the ...
Beware. Was not compatible with my 2002 Chrysler Town and Country. It looked good on first inspection but after a closer look the features on the front side to which the oil cooler and air conditioning condenser mount were different. Completely different. So different that the part would not actually go into the car because the new part had plastic bracketry which interfered with the oil cooler. There was simply no way to use it. I have posted two photos with the old part in the background and the new in the foreground where you can see the different elements on the new plastic end caps of the radiator on both sides. It seems well enough constructed and it came fast, it was just incompatible. I would recommend you check you oil cooler installation on the front side before buying and compare to my pictures. If yours is like mine, this item won't work. ... show more
