  • great purchase

these are great! i didn't expect much but they work excellently. they're WAY stronger than i imagined, too. they're good enough to hold up a fabric cheering slogan i have. the magnetics fit well, too, and haven't left any marks on my photocards.

  • They work as advertised.
Number of Items: 20
The media could not be loaded. I would definitely recommend to friends and family, and I would buy again. Pro's: - StRoNg Magnets - Magnets and pin heads are smooth - Easy to push pins into drywall - Nicely packaged with plastic storage container and Styrofoam * Bonus black velvety drawstring storage bag Con's - Pin heads are a little wider than expected. Details: - The pictures of these temples are on a thicker card stock. The strength of the magnets is strong enough to hold at least 4 of these pictures (I was too lazy to take the top ones down and try more). - The magnets and pin heads are smooth so I don't worry that they are going to scratch my pictures. - The video shows my little taking the picture down and putting it back up. Very easy to use. - The little Styrofoam pieces were put on tips of each pin. I'm saving these pieces to store them for our next move. - The plastic storage container isn't the most sturdy, but it is sturdy enough. - I haven't tried to pull them out of the wall yet, but I don't see a major issue with getting them out, especially since we have textured painted walls. - The thickness of the pin heads was more than I expected, but it doesn't detract from the display and is definitely Not a deal-breaker. ... show more

  • These work well for light pieces
Number of Items: 20
I used these to display some watercolor pieces in a show. The largest piece I used these on was 18x18", on 140lb watercolor paper. These will hold that but I wouldn't go much bigger because the magnets are small. They are powerful, by way. They will snap together if they get close to each other. The push pins are easy enough to push into drywall so don't try to hammer them because they are magnetic and will stick to the hammer and then you'll hammer the pin right through your finger (speaking from experience). And the pins are sharp. So, push them in gently and just be careful. These make it easy to display works on paper in a nice way. ... show more

  • Great concept - Poor execution
Number of Items: 20
This might work alright for smaller things like posters, but not for tapesties. Two of these can't hold up my large tapestry (60x80"), and three of these just barely do the job. I also tried hanging a more average size tapestry on a slanted wall like you see in attics and lofts, with four of these (one on each corner), and again it's way too precarious to be worth using en leu of traditional push pins ... show more

  • Looks Great!
Number of Items: 20
I love how these magnet hangers look, they really add some style to a poster. The magnets are super strong, and the tacks are easy to place in the wall. My only complaint, and it's not a big one, is that I would prefer if the magnets were flatter. I am slightly concerned that they will be easier to bump or knock off the wall because of how far they stick out. I have some pretty ingenious cats, and while they haven't seemed to notice them yet, I wouldn't put it past them to try to remove them to play with them. However, they are very strong, so perhaps they wouldn't fall off when bumped at all. Time will tell. ... show more

  • Magic!
Number of Items: 50
So glad to have found these magnet pins. We are using them to secure soft cloth posters of various sizes, approximately 4 to 6 feet w/h. The cloth does not lend itself to nail holes would be too expensive to frame. Since the cloth is light (about 3lb by my estimate) but quite large in square footage, we have the pins spaced 4 inches apart at the top so that the cloth falls freely as it is meant to. The pins are barely visible, except the ones that go on white edges where they look quite neat. This came as a nice surprise. Previously we had attempted different types of tape, but it would peel off with temperature changes. Highly recommended for light projects when nail holes are out of the question! ... show more

  • I love these things
Number of Items: 50
I love these things. I bought them to hang up posters and was worried about them not working because the posters were REALLY thick when they showed up, but these magnets hold them up no problem. They are VERY strong, the magnets that go over the poster come all stuck together in a line and I had to have my boyfriend pull them apart for me, it really hurts your fingers, so if you're not very strong you might want to have someone help get them apart. I love that I can tweak the arrangement of whatever I'm putting up without having to poke extra holes into it. Tip: When you're pulling the magnet *off* of the wall do it by sliding it to the side before pulling it away from the wall or you will pull the magnet tack out of the wall. ... show more

  • So Far --- Fantastic for Laser Cutter/Engraver Supports.
Number of Items: 20
For CO2 lasers, many operators use a steel bed to lay material on for cutting. The problem with cutting on a flat surface is when the lser burns through, the brown or dark smoke and resifue gets deposited on the back of you material, wood, acrylice etc. The same is true for open metal honeycomb, leaves burn or smoke marks where the laser crosses the metal. Using either small cylindrical super magnets, or a pin gris solves this. You can position your pins to support the outside scrap, as well as the cut product. The laser has space under the material for the smoke to be removed and not leave marks. These are a great deal. The pin bases are magnetic, and I didn't realize that when ordering. So they can be placed directly on the steel bed, or you can use the included cylindircal magnets to increase the material height from the bed. Or you can use the cylindric magnets alone. Conclusion: Although unexpected, you are getting triple the methods of support in 1 product. Magnetic base pins, cylindrical magnets and combination of both. ... show more
