    • Very sturdy and versatile, I use them to hang my clock!

I bought these actually to hang some very light picture frames on my wall. I would position two for the top corners of the frame and then hang the frame on them. We do not want nails driven in our walls so we bought these pins for lighter applications and C-hooks for heavier stuff. But upon attempting to hang my large 30" 6lb. wall clock using the C-hook in the center over our fireplace, we hit wood behind the wall instead of blank space. So I positioned 2 push pins at the top instead, hung the clock on them, and then added 4 pins at the bottom of the clock so that when hung, the clock would also rest on them to help take some of the weight off the top. PERFECT! It works! I'm doing that at my own risk and if at some point my clock falls to the ground that would be on me and not the fault of the pins as I am pushing the envelope. But based on what I see, my clock will stay put! ... show more

So I usually go to dollar store and get a 250 or 400 pack of tacks and be on my way, well the last few times I went they didn't have the thumb tacks I like the get & the ones I get break easily, well if you look at the second picture I posted you can see the ones I ordered from this company look stronger and more durable (on the left side) and the ones from dollar store (on the right side) look weak and brittle. May have only been 100 for 4 or 5 bucks but they are made better. Great deal. Would recommend and buy again. ... show more
