Description

Ranger Bands are strong, super durable rubber bands, which are known for being useful in a variety of applications. Ranger Bands are said to have been first adopted by Army Rangers. Now used by all branches of the military, parachutists, police, swat, homeland security, border patrol and outdoor enthusiasts. We began making ranger bands for the public years ago for attaching items to military style backpacks. Strapping small survival kits closed. Fire starters for survival situations they start easy and burn hot. Non slip gripping surface for items like flash lights, gun grips, and knife sheaths. They are also good for anything else that you can think of. I started off using a jig to cut up used bicycle tubes in 2004 working for J&B Importers we just moved to are new warehouse from Fontana to Redlands CA , in 2008 I went to new bicycle tubes. I couldn't keep up with my sales and needed an automated way to produce the bands. Got some quotes from Taiwan but decided I wanted Made in the USA. I found a US manufacture in 2015 that was all ready making bands with their trade mark for the US ARMY. We worked together on the creation of 9 sizes in two different formulas of EPDM rubber.

  • Very long lasting
I use these to hold my shooting house door closed for deer hunting. They last several years, one is on its 4th year. Good product

  • Useful for pretty much everything
I use these to contain rifle slings, tourniquets, etc. I’m sure there are a million uses I have not found so far…but always keep these on hand. They are also good for starting a camp fire.

  • Good thick rubber
Not a lot to say. It's rubber bands. However, it's thick rubber bands with some nice stretch and obvious toughness. It's a great assortment of sizes. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

  • Good product
These are a must have. They sort of fit into the same category as duct tape, and zip ties; useful for many odd jobs. Perfect for keeping your sling neat when storing, also great for cable management. The small ones aren’t be useful, they could package less of them. These do hold up well, so far I’ve only broken a few of them. ... show more

Product as described, excellent.

  • Great for rifle sling retention band
These 2-2.5 inch ranger bands are the perfect size(for me anyways) for rifle sling retention bands. I’ve bought a few different packs and if you are looking for sling retention bands, I recommend these(24 pack version, 12 at 2 inches and 12 at 2.5 inches). I put them on an assortment of stocks(b5 bravo, bcm mod 0 sopmod, mft minimalist, sba3 pistol brace) and they’ve worked well on all of them. One of the stocks has had the sling drawn and retained hundreds of times over the last 6 months or so and hasn’t snapped. ... show more
