I bought this to take on a cruise but we were not able to go. Using this wheelchair for the last 3 months has been a “back” saver for me. It is lightweight, easy to lift into/out of our Telluride. Foot rests are easy on/off. Fold/unfold is easy. Easy to roll over mildly uneven ground. Lighter than aluminum wheelchairs. The media could not be loaded. We needed a light wheelchair for our mom who is visiting us. We wanted something that is light and compact and easy to carry around. We found this and it came in about one week. The box itself is quite small for a wheelchair. Out of the box it is definitely light! And all I needed to do is attach the leg rest and the hind support wheels (anti tipper) and its ready to use. No need for tools to assemble, just click on. I appreciate how easy it is to fold up with the 2 straps on the seat. Although it is light, the magnesium alloy material seems rigid enough to last a long time. My only concern is the plastic holder of the leg support. And as described it is easy to push the leg support away when you wish to stand up. One caution though, if you on the big/obese side, the seat might not be wide enough. Because of its lightness, it is easy to maneuver around on your own. I did not need to use the red cushion as it seems comfortable enough. When folding away, it is quite compact and will need not much space. The handle (where you push the wheelchair) will both fold down and when you take the hind support wheels off and and leg rest off, it is very compact. The tires are pretty durable from the feel of it. It also comes with a travel bag which would come in handy when one has to bring it on the plane. I also love the rear hand brake and the pouch at the back. All in all, I would recommend this wheelchair but again take note, it will not fit big/wide people. I RECEIVED this chair on May 23rd this year (in blue and it's a great turquoise color in person) the day before I really needed it for a family trip. I have Cerebral Palsy. The wheelchair IS very comfortable to sit in, easy to assemble, maneuver and IS very light weight both for me to use myself and for family members to push me around in. HOWEVER the 2nd time I got into this wheelchair on our trip one piece of the PLASTIC belt buckle what I'm gonna call the "Male" or the "Fork" fell away from the material to which it was attached to when I UNBUCKLED it. We saw and heard it fall so we reattached it. Throughout our three day trip this kept happening. And I guess it also happened the last time we put the chair in our trunk on the trip, but we ended up losing it, because the last time I went to use the wheelchair on July 4th, that buckle was gone. It's not in the trunk and it didn't fall off in the garage either. So now I feel unsafe because I have no belt. The body of the belt is sewen onto the chair so the entrire seat belt CANNOT be replaced. I tried contacting Amazon for them to send me the one part of the buckle but they are ABSOLUTELY NO HELP they can't even contact the SELLER on my behalf! I ended up finding the contact information of the manufacturer HI-FORTUNE myself in the instruction booklet that comes with the wheelchair and we'll see if they'll help me get it and how long that battle will be. I don't understand who SUMELL is in this puzzle/equation, but don't try to find them, because you won't. The wheelchair is not too expensive I guess, but it's not cheap for me either so this kind of crap should not happen so soon. It should be better QUALITY for the DISABLED! UPDATE: Hi-Fortune contacted me through AMAZON and after a lot of back and forth which eventually switched to my private email when they gave me a DIFFERENT email address than the one in their booklet; that only happened though because they insisted on seeing my video which I couldn't upload here because it won't accept my phone file TYPE. Anyway, they DID send it to me FED EX like my rep Linda said it would be I received it yesterday (July 25) and they didn't just send me the buckle piece I needed they sent the whole belt. My Brother helped me attach it BUT because he doesn't want to risk me losing it again after the first time I use it, he took the end of the material of the belt bent it to make it thicker and sewed it down to make sure it doesn't fall off again. Obviously, NO CUSTOMER should have to do that on a brand new two month old wheelchair! At least she kept her word and I got it. And if you're wondering, no, they did NOT offer any part of my money back for all this. I would have if it were my company. And I still feel that AMAZON certainly should, but it's not going to happen. ... show more

Overall this chair is perfect for traveling on an airplane. It's light weight (13lbs not broken down). I'm 5'10 and 180lbs. I fit in the seat now, but no room left if I gain weight. If you need to break it down for traveling, you definitely need to put it in the bag it comes with. I feel like it takes a long time to break down. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got this chair for my mom when she visits. It is of very solid and lightweight materiel. It maneuvers easily in hallways and tight spaces. It is also very comfortable. We like that it comes with added seat and back support cushions, plus it has a pocket in the back. The storage bag included is of thick and resistant material.
