Well it works just like the video shows on Amazon with the fur accumulating in the bristles in a round circle. You just brush till the bristles are full, push top button and the little circle of fur just comes off. My big 12 year old Spooky has always loved his brush time with our old brush, but now he just lays down on the blanket I lay him on to brush him and almost goes to sleep it’s so relaxing. This is nice for my cat. Only thing I dont like is the static it creates. I run a little water over it first and let it dry a bit so the hair will release. Not good for short haired dogs.
