This is the best frother I have used. Is it powerful? Yes. The reviews saying it will froth your liquid right out of the cup are true, it is powerful, but having read these reviews, I took care in using it and have only spilled over the edge a couple of times in the 70 -80 hot chocolates I have made with it. I use this daily to make at least 1 protein hot chocolate for my breakfast, and usually 2-3 hot chocolates. I was looking for something that would mix the protein powders I use to make a smooth hot chocolate. This does the job. I found that if I start with just half a cup and angle the frother slightly I have less problems with it coming up out of the mug, then I gradually add the amount of water I want. The double spring piece at the bottom combined with the power of this frother is far superior to any i have used. There are 2 other things that I LOVE about this frother. 1, it is rechargeable! The charge lasts longer than any set of batteries has ever lasted in any other frother I have owned and used with this much consistency. I bought this in January and it is now March. I charged it the day I got it and it is still going strong on that first charge. I think I would have changed the batteries in my previous frother at least twice by now, and that would be after using it at a weak level for a while before finally getting frustrated and changing the batteries. This is actually what made me come write this review. Everyday when I use it I am surprised I haven’t had to charge it yet. It is just now starting to seem like it is losing a little bit of steam, but it is still stronger than any other frother I have owned, just not as strong as it has been for the last 2 months. I’m not feeling a need to charge it, just finally noticing it has lost the tiniest bit of power. The other thing I love is the way it is constructed. My last frother broke at the spot where the stick attaches to the body of the frother. It was only held on by some weak plastic which eventually broke. This frother not only has a stronger rubber type piece at the top, but the piece also sits completely inside the top body of the frother. I don’t see how it could possibly break, and even if it did, this came with a second stick so I’d still have a functional frother. I have owned different frothers but I think this is a much stronger and more reliable product. I can whisk eggs with it too. Keeps a very good and super strong performance. I didn't give it a five-star because it can be a little too strong sometimes. That means that often I have to frost my coffee in a larger container and then pour it into my coffee cup because the strength of the the charge will make it overflow in my coffee mug. If I don't want to have to change it to another container I just froth at a smaller amount and then pour more coffee into fill it to the top. ... show more

I just started getting into matcha teas a few months ago, but didn't want to do the whole bamboo whisk and kit for it as I have very limited space and I like to avoid single use items. In comes this mini whisk. It's powerful, nice to look at, and does everything I need it to do. I can whisk up some matcha, whipping cream, eggs, you name it. It's rechargeable so I never have to worry about having AA batteries on hand, and it's USB-C which I already use for a lot of other things. I love that I can just avoid having extra chords for microUSB or USBAs. A charge has lasted me almost two months with pretty regular use, I use it for about 15-30 seconds almost daily.
