This set is lovely. The colors are as shown on the photos (I purchased navy). It came in good condition, a few sewing strings that needed snipped but nothing out of the ordinary. The sheet set is soft, and seems of average quality for the price. The comforter is mid-weight and not too heavy. Seems like it will work well for most seasons, or with an additional blanket in wintertime. The curtains are basic, and as others stated, they are sheer and do allow a good deal of light through. If you are looking for room darkening curtains, these included ones are not of that caliber. Overall very impressed and pleased with the purchase for the price. It's not going to last forever with regular use, but for the price, I expect to change it out in a few years. Would definitely consider other Madison Park items. ... show more

Purchased for mine and my husband's room. We had the same cheap comforter set for years, with small children I saw no reason to upgrade. Finally decided to buy new one since children now both sleep in their rooms. Color and design very pretty and just as described. It’s not bad for the price. In fact, it would be nearly impossible to find a complete set the covers the bed with a sheet set, comforter, shams, decorative pillows, and window curtains for $100. Unfortunately the quality isn’t the best but again “not bad.” The comforter had blue stitching in the cream colored part of the comforter which I’m afraid to remove. The curtains are very thin so if you don’t have blinds on the windows it will not keep sunlight out. The Valance is not long enough to cover my windows so I would need a total of four to make it work and I can’t find where I can order them alone. The sheets are soft but thin so not sure how long they will last. All and all “not bad” especially for the price. It will work until I can afford to purchase a better quality set. At which time a will be happy to use this set in a spare bedroom. You can’t beat the set for the price! ... show more

Update After 2 1/2 Year's it still looks like new and I have no complaints whatsoever like I said previously if you wash it with care on GENTLE CYCLE like your supposed to you shouldn't have any issues with threads falling out or it falling apart I'm still very happy with this product and that goes for both sets every thing from both sets is still intact beautifully!!! Extremely satusfied with this set i ordered the king size set for my Queen bed because i like the extra size. The curtains are nice but too sheer for me but those were easily replaced by nicer ones from a major bed and bath store so it shouldn't be a huge issue for anyone who can afford this really. Every thing is made from Quality fabric the Pillows and Shams are just too beautiful to describe and the material for the underside of the comforter is so silky soft and smooth it feels like my hotel collection sheets from a store that rhymes with Jaycees. I will say that i dont like white sheets they should be Navy blue or brown but for a cheap set of sheets they do feel very soft i also read some reviews that the comforter falls apart in the wash remember that somthing like this should only be washed on a gentle cycle including the pillows and shams i have a beautiful croscill set thats 18 years old and still looks new because i only wash it on a gentle cycle in cold water...finally in closing id like to say If you like this set buy it!! With proper care im sure it will last for many many years to come. ... show more

This is a very high-end luxurious set that is amazing! I promise you should not be disappointed! Looks so beautiful but very masculine on my boyfriend's bed. The price cannot be beat, looks like it cost hundreds of dollars. We love the matching curtains and valances that came with it too.
