Awesome product! Can make about 10-13 coasters with the bands provided. The frame is low quality but definitely holds up as long as you are gentle 😀 super easy to use, takes 20-25 min to make a single project!

This product is a good value for the price. I first bought one thinking my kiddos would share but ended up buying a second one because they both enjoyed it so much. Far as the sturdiness goes, it is plastic and I’ve noticed some of the posts on the loom are starting to show signs of wear and weakness. Also the hook used to weave the pieces is plastic and is growing weak near the hook. But a new hook can easily be made out of a coat hanger. My only other complaint is that the instructions a terrible. Fortunately I knew what I was doing and had experience using these type looms as a child myself, not to mention better instructions or even how-to videos can easily be found online. For the price, I will probably buy this again tho if either of the looms break and the kids are still interested in it. ... show more

I bought this on a whim for my 5 & 6 year old, worried it may be a little too challenging for them, but it took them no time at all to learn how to weave and even crochet the edges all on their own! This was easy for a ten year old to do all on her own. She really likes it. We watched a quick how to video and she was off making pot holders. I like that the square loom has little knobs on top of each spike. I think the bands hold on much easier. We had a different set years ago that should couldn’t really manage and lost interest. -So, withthat difference and age this is lots of fun for her. ... show more
