This scooter is very smooth and well built. My son rides it very often and enjoys how easy it used to use. It is very fast but easy to stop or slow down using the brake. The brake is plastic so it doesn't heat up when used. One if the best features are the handle bar grips. The ends are reinforced so they are very durable. My son just lets go of the handle whenever he is when done riding and the T bar falls down, smashing the grips into the concrete. But the grip doesn't break. The grip material on the deck is peeling up because of use, but I think it should stay better than it does. I have skateboards that are used much harder and the grip material stays in place. Purchased this as a replacement for my son. One of the pieces fell off when I was removing it from the box and I couldn’t get it back on. I attempted several times to put it back to its original site so that the handle would be secure. Unfortunately my son can’t use it! What a waste of time and money. Some parts didn't fit together properly so it wasn't an easy assembly process. Once put together it was sturdy enough to support me( I'm 230 lbs) but the wheels don't have traction so it was a hassle riding this scooter to go a mile and a half. I only recommend for children if you can put it together easily. ... show more

I Bought this scooter for my son. It is smooth, fast and durable. The grip tape has peeled off the deck but my son had also ridden it in puddles which is not advised. Great, well built product otherwise.
