Really like how the fabric is thicker and the metal clasp is a heavier metal with a nice finish. Might be too heavy for a smaller dog, however. The metal clasp locks tight, but it doesn't unlock and push out on its own like most plastic collar clasps. Its not an issue but I could see it being annoying for some. Best quality collar I have gotten online! The buckle and D ring are shiny metal. The buckle is secure and does not come apart by itself. There is a slider to adjust the the length. The print is clear and very festive! Our AirTag holder fits easily on the collar. I would definitely buy again!

The Maca Bates Christmas collars are so cute. We got the plaid and it looks so handsome on our pup. We ordered the large for our 45lb tall slender husky-lab mix and it fits perfectly. When I ordered the collar I thought the clip was black plastic however, I was pleasantly surprised when I received it because the clip is actually a black metal... same material and finish as the rose gold only black. This is a very nice collar. It feels substantial in the hand, the color is a vivid red and the metal parts feel very solid. Fits my dog great, gives her a new "look" for Christmas. She has not complained about it so I am assuming she is happy :)

This collar is so pretty in person. The black metal clasp is certainly nice looking abd the collar is a beautiful color. My foster dog loves it and it seems to be very comfortable. All the stitches look well done and it feels very durable.
