  • Instantly defective
Absolutely awful. Not sure if I’m more upset about the product being defective or the absolute lack of response by the Milwaukee company. Purchased the pro press with the additional kit for up to 4” presses. Our company set up an “after hour” commercial job to replaced supply valves throughout their building. The tool completely failed and shut down AFTER THE THIRD CRIMP. We had multiple copper pipe cut open and Milwaukee’s pro press absolutely failed on the night of 09/09/2024. Of course their customer support was closed so we left a message and have also left four emails about product support. Guess what????? NOTHING, not a call, not an emailed response….absolutely nothing. They took our company’s $6k and don’t give a rip about a small plumbing company. We’re now in jeopardy of losing one of our commercial accounts, thanks for nothing Milwaukee!!! BE WARY OF THIS SELLER….Also found out that this product was previously returned by another buyer and was simply repackaged and sold to our company by the seller…AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATED REVIEW 09/17/2024 Finally heard back from the seller who offered a whole $10 for our troubles and losing a commercial account after they sent us a previously returned tool!!! Oh my goodness, $10…. I’m sure my customer will be thrilled to know I got $10 while their whole building was without water into the next day. ... show more

  • Not a review
For the guy who commented previously about not being able to contact Milwaukee about warranty. You can't contact Milwaukee for a warranty on a Milwaukee product you purchased from a 3rd party. They have to be a Milwaukee dealer like Home Depot. That's why the product from home Depot is usually more expensive because they offer the warranty unlike Amazon. I'm giving 4 stars because it's a good product but Amazon is misleading sometimes and people aren't made fully aware of these kinds of things when buying a very expensive tool like this. ... show more

  • Sizes needed for copper press fittings
I’m just wandering how many A/C guys…sorry people are using 1” copper. In my world it’s 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, 1 1/4, 1 3/8. I know in big commercial we get a lot bigger but these sizes would cover a lot of the bases for most, then another set for the big stuff. Sizes in the A/C world are OD by the way. Different from plumbing. But what do I know I’m 55 old and grumpy ... show more

  • Fanboy
1. If your Milwaukee battery is blinking, just leave it on the charger overnight, it probably just drained down too much. 2. It’s a Milwaukee tool, the seller is Milwaukee, just call them. 3. “Just Torches” is a person that has never worked a job where the water test failed and had to wait for the water to stop (old pipes/super important to get the system up and running/water really never shuts off) 4. “Just torches” has not seen how fast a job gets done. Usually equates to more money. The tool pays for itself. 5. Everyone is doing it, I mean everyone. Ships, high rises, chemical plants…. 6. But hey, if you have time and want a real “challenge,” solder or braze. Clean the outside and inside of each fitting and wait for the water/air test after introducing a flame into a wood frame. Expansion and contraction ain’t good for glued pipe or pin holes. 7. Who cares that it’s easier to repare and can be done with the leak still occurring, not causing a shut down. 8. A 5 year old could solder, it fallows the heat. If you can pass a sobriety test, you can braze. 9. You prob use pex 10. Def pexers ... show more
