Okay, so a review from someone that actually purchased this instead of it being a Vine review on a freebie. I needed to replace the alarm system in my out building. The previous one was nearly 10 years old and only worked on a 3G LTE system. I purchased this one because it worked on newer cellular technology. Overall, the unit does what it says it does. The installation portion is fairly straight forward and simple. One drawback is that it is powered via USB and the cord that comes with it is pretty short. Also means that someone could easily cut the power. The unit has an internal battery. So it functions even with a power disruption. Comes with an external speaker that is hard wired. Again, a wire that could be cut. But there is also an internal speaker that is pretty loud. So if in an alarm state there is still a siren going off if the external speaker wire is cut. All of the door sensors, key fobs, and RFID tags were pre-programmed into the unit I purchased. So did not have to mess around with adding and pairing them. That was a plus. Although you do need to add and pair the motion sensors. Was fairly straight forward once you figure out the instruction manual. Which brings me to why I gave it 4 stars. The instruction manual is pretty vague (and that is being kind). After trying to figure out the manual, and also doing internet searches on the model, I gave up and reached out to the seller. Their reply was to send me a Youtube link to the exact videos that are on the description page. Which did nothing for me and the issue I was experiencing. But after about an hour of fumbling around through the various screens I finally stumbled across the setting I needed to change. This panel pairs with the Smartlife App. Which you need to use to set up the WiFi, and also to rename the sensors so that you know what they are and what zone was triggered in the event of an alarm. It will also send you alerts to your Smartlife App. The downside to this is I have not found a way to disable alerts to Smartlife. I installed a SIM card and have the system text my phone. So for me what this means is that an event alert is sent to my phone multiple times because of the system texting me as well as sending the notification to Smartlife. Kind of annoying. Hoping I can get that straightened out. You also have the ability to arm and disarm using Alexa or Google Home. I was able to integrate it into Alexa. Although I have not been able to arm or disarm the panel yet. Get a voice response from Alexa saying I need to manually do it. I have not figured out how to get it integrated into Google Home. Nothing in the device list matches the panel. Overall, 4 stars. The system does what it should. It is not a high end system, and you should not purchase it thinking that it is. But for the price, it is worth considering if you want some sort of entry security system on a budget. ... show more

I'm home by myself a lot. The hubs works during the day and sometimes, doesn't get home until late. I work from home and wanted to feel secure, especially since there's been happenings in my town the past couple years. This security system came onto my Amazon Vine feed so I ordered it. I've been waiting for the hubs to set it up for me but he's been busy. I was going to install this myself but the instructions are a little confusing. I should have known I was going to have an issue. The description is a little confusing on the listing. The way some things are worded doesn't make sense. I do not have the patience to try to get this up and running so I'll leave it to Mr. Fix It aka the hubs. It seems like a pretty decent alarm system. I'm just disappointed I can't install it myself. I have several rental units and occasionally a unit sits unattended when it is between tenants. These days squatters are all the rage, so I've been looking for a way to protect my properties without enduring the cost of a monitored alarm system, which can be very expensive. When this Alarm System for Home Security came across my data feed, I felt that this could be what I've been looking for. My impressions: - It comes with a control panel, a loud alarm, 4 sensors for windows or doors, a couple of motion sensors, some remote controls and a couple of fobs for easy access. This is fine for an apartment or small house, but an average size home is going to need additional door and window sensors, and maybe motion sensors as well. - I *really* like the fact the GSM is included as a connectivity option. Previously I had to pay either $50/month for cable service that I could use to connect an alarm system to, or $100/+ per month for a dedicated alarm monitoring system. With the GSM I just need to pay an additional $10/month for a new line on my existing service. Nice! - The fact that this alarm system is compatible with Alexa and Google for Home is unimportant, since I will be using it for vacant homes. If there is someone in there to turn off the alarm, that's a problem... - The product page shows the alarm system with a remote camera. There is no camera included in the package; it is available as an add-on for purchase. Overall, I'm very impressed with this alarm system. It's reasonably priced, doesn't require a wifi network if you enable the GSM, and has all the functionality of a full-blown professional alarm system. Recommended. ... show more

I feel much better with this honestly I was very worried about having to do wiring and messing things but this was super easy to setup programing was very simple it was very easy to put all the little alarms up. I love this and would highly recommend this
