All four bulbs I ordered arrived broken. Glass all over my kitchen floor that I had to clean up, then haul to the dumpster to dispose. I have ordered the same product, several times, for years. This is the first time they arrived via USPS. Such a waste of money and time.

Look at the pictures. They pretty much sum up this purchase. You know the old saying about an offer being too good to be true? Well, this is what you get. There is a great big sticker right on the package saying that this item needs to be boxed for shipment. Definitely makes you wonder what else they do to cut costs...     • None of them lit up

I bought these to replace existing Philips F40T12 40 watt bulbs. I took out the old ones and put these in. The light never came on. Swapped them out until I tried all 4 I purchased, in as many combinations as possible, the light never lit up. No idea if I got a bad batch, or they truly do not actually replace the type of bulbs I have. So, if you're using these to replace the ones I listed here, they probably will not work. However, they did come very well packaged in a box, wrapped in bubble wrap, in another box. High marks for the packaging! :) I didn't return them because, well, I don't return things unless it's truly a pos. I can't say these are or aren't. Maybe someday I will have a way to try them in a different fixture. Or maybe the company can suggest a fixture I can replace mine with that will use these if they actually work. ... show more

My fixture takes 4 bulbs. 2 had gone out previously then these last 2. Was glad they package them by 6. Was able to replay the 4 and have 2 spare. I am amazed how bright these new bulbs shine. first of all, they aren't even brighter than the ones I took out... They may be 2800 lumens all together MAYBE!. Next they have that generic subway color and flicker. I should have spent a couple extra bucks and bought a name brand... LUX-A-WHO? Very disappointed and would not recommend.
