Not quite plug and play, but easier to install than you think. It comes pre-wired with a base plate that fits a number of wall structures. The last chore is to caulk the external plate with the wall structure if it is installed outdoors. Although it has a adjustments for both sensitivity and duration, but I found I didn't even have to do that. I installed it at the top of the garage on the driveway and it works great. I replaced my outside spotlights with these light, the 4 corners of my house. They come on automatically on dim but when they detect motion they are bright. The look from road is lovely. The soft lighting is attractive but if anyone violates the perimeter, they are full bright!! I’m very pleased.

Using this on the side of the house to illuminate the trash bin area. Replacement for an old motion sensor floodlight that stopped motion sensing. Once I found the proper breaker to shut off, installation went fine. The weatherproofing gasket is made of some sort of foam like material. Not sure how weatherproof it actually is but since the light is directly under the eaves I'm not expecting it to get very wet. It has been installed for a few months now and is working fine. It detects motion from about 15-20 feet away and outputs a bright white light. The neighbor who I share the bin space with thinks it's a vast improvement.
