This is just what we needed under our deck to shine out in our yard. I have to let our dogs out at night and want to be able to see them. Plus if another animal walks thru our back yard, I will know as this will go on and it lights up our big yard no problem. The light is bright and lights up the area that it was intended for. The motion sensor is spot on and triggers as it should. When I removed my old motion lamps I was found that the lamps required 7 wires to connect into the house wiring. These Lutec lamps and motion detector had only 3 wires to connect! As a result, the install was easy, and they work beautifully. Easy adjustments for direction of lamps and detector, and also easy adjustment for testing, timing and sensitivity. After I figured out the motion light settings and how to get the the sensor to read the way I wanted, this light will cover the area I needed light. I will say that the dusk to dawn works like they say it does.
