It blocks out all lights, creating a perfect environment for uninterrupted sleep. Whether I'm sleeping on my back, side, or stomach, the mask feels comfortable. However, I do think the $50 price tag is a bit steep.

    • Terrible for side sleepers
I was really excited for this sleep mask. It just looked so lux and soft. It came in a nice box looking like a pillow-soft dream and came with a matching silk bag to stow it in for travel. At first glance, it’s very well-made and the silk is super soft and the mask itself is very plush. It has a wide silk-covered elastic band in the back and the design looks seamless and chic. I put it on to go to sleep and the fit felt good— not too tight and not too big. It fit my head seemingly just right, which is good because there is no way to adjust it. It felt like soft pillows on my eyes. Then I tried to fall asleep which is where the problems started. I’m a side sleeper and lying on my side pushed the mask across my face so that the nose opening was on the side of my face and the mask was covering my nose. I kept trying to adjust it but it kept moving every time I turned on my side. Also, because the band is so wide, it partially covers your ears. I recognize this is a design feature— they say it’s meant to be partially noise-reducing, however it didn’t reduce any outside nose but did manage to create a crunching noise in the ear that was pressed up against it, since it was crushing the ample polyester fill. So that was distracting me from falling asleep. Finally, I drifted off but kept waking periodically throughout the night because the mask kept moving all over my face due to the weight of the fill, I’m guessing. They also make a claim that the mask is “thermoregulating to help maintain a comfy body temp” but the irony of that is that I woke up drenched in sweat which never happens. I would not have necessarily attributed that to the mask, but I think given that they promised just the opposite would occur, it’s fair game to consider it might have been a result of the mask. All in all, I found this mask incredibly disappointing. I wanted desperately to like it given that it seemed to be such a special high quality (and pricey) sleep mask. I will not be using this for sleeping again though. I think the most I would consider using it for is meditating while sitting or on my back where I wouldn’t be moving around. That said, this might work for people who are exclusively back sleepers. That is, if you maybe don’t mind waking up sweaty? ... show more

Overpriced and overhyped for something that’s just not that great. It moves around too much, I can’t make it tighter, there are no eye cups so its resting against my closed eyeballs which I don’t like. I would much rather pay for a $10 “3D eye mask” than this $50 silk one, any day, and be way happier with the product. The box just takes up space, not sure why that’s necessary if there’s a bag, but seems like a lot of fluff just to boost the price up on something that definitely is not worth it ... show more

This is hands down the best sleep mask I've ever had. Not only do I love it, but my husband borrowed it and now he won't give it back to me. He loves it too. It's so plush and comfortable to wear. It's super well-designed. The soft material encourages my relaxation and it isn't hot or itchy on my skin. The wider band in the back holds it firmly in place and it's also smoother on the side, which is great for me because I'm a side sleeper.     • A very comfortable experience.
I'm very happy to have come across the Lunya sleep mask. The whole package feels like some sort of premium product. The box itself feels great and gives off the impression that a lot of care was placed into its construction. When you open the box, you're greeted with the eyemask itself which feels very soft and lightweight. When placing it on my head, the mask does a fantastic job at blocking out all lights, even that which peaks in from the bridge of my nose. I usually have an issue with my mask not completely blocking out all light or are to tight in their fit. However, this one is one of the rare exceptions that actually does a great job. The elastic band on the back of the mask does a fantastic job of stretching to conform to the shape of my head but not to the point where I feel compressed and claustrophobic. Overall, this is a fantastic eye mask. It does a fantastic job of blocking out all lights, is lightweight, and just overall fits comfortably. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a premium eye mask. ... show more

The Lunya Washable Silk Sleep Mask helps me get a good night's sleep as much as a great mattress and pillows. This mask is well made and feels sturdy and durable. The fabric is very soft and cushiony. The masks sits comfortably on my face with plenty of room for my nose, while still blocking all light. The wide strap keeps the mask in place while not feeling tight or pulling my hair. Comes with a pouch for travel, all in a nice box that would be suitable for gift giving.     • Comfortable but no eye cups, not the best value IMO
This sleep mask is very soft, comfortable and stretchy. I'm not certain though that all of this is a great value for the current price of $50. It doesn't have eye cups, but it's not overly tight against my head without them so it's not a deal-breaker. It also comes with a nice carrying bag and is boxed very fancy.
