    • Comfortable for Everyone, Potential for Anyone with Sleep Issues
I decided to take a chance on a weighted blanket to help with some of my sleep issues, particularly falling asleep and improving my deep sleep metrics. It took a few nights to get used to, but after a short break-in period, I could feel the improvement in my sleep and see it in my sleep tracking data. Out of the box the blanket feels good to the touch and upon inspection you can see the quality of its construction. Its fabric has a very smooth texture and feels cool to the touch. The Queen size fits my bed well, and would also do well as just a blanket on the sofa or other seated situation in your home. As far as sleep goes, I definitely had a short adjustment period of 2 or 3 nights to get used to sleeping under the weight of the blanket. I went with the 15-pound option which, while far from too heavy, is noticeable and it was on my mind when first sleeping under it. However, after that initial period, I was falling asleep faster than I had been and was experiencing less tossing and turning at night. This feeling was backed up by the sleep data from my Apple Watch. My sleep tracking data showed more consistency in the deeper sleep stages and I felt more refreshed in the morning from an anecdotal perspective. I could recommend this blanket to anyone who wants a comfortable blanket to cover up with either in bed or on the sofa. If you are experiencing some sleep issues, whether getting to sleep or staying asleep, then I would highly recommend giving this blanket a go and seeing if it improves your situation. ... show more

I will try to remember to update this review after I've gotten more used to my new weighted blanket, but if I never do, it's safe to assume my rating is still 5 stars. This is my first weighted blanket so I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it has been pretty great so far! I think I won't know if it's actually helping my sleep for a couple of weeks at least, but I have no complaints. This blanket is nice and soft, feels very high quality, and the weight distribution is even throughout. I haven't tried washing it yet, so I don't know if that will cause the little beads to gather in corners or something, but so far so good!!! ... show more

Arrived timely and exactly as pictured - I love it! I've always slept better when I have some weight on my feet (go figure) and pillows, comforters, etc. are too easy to push off. For my size I bought a 20 lb. cream Luna Blanket and it works perfectly for that purpose. It's designed to "use deep touch pressure to increase serotonin and melatonin levels and decrease cortisol levels to improve mood and promote restful sleep" . Even though I am only using it to cover my feet at this point, it does that!
