    • I really love this weighted blanket
Very pleased with this blanket. It came nicely packaged. It was advertised as organic cotton -- tag on blanket just says 100 % cotton. But I don't really care, it's very soft and cool to the touch. The glass beads do just drift to side or corner because there is nothing holding them, and no stitching to keep them "in place" but this isn't a problem for me. The material is pretty thin and see through when you hold it up to light. I don't think there's any poly fill, which I'm glad about, because it'd just make me hotter. The blanket is very large, able to cover the surface of a queen size bed. A little ackward lugging it from the bedroom to living room. I would anticipate bead leakage if it were jostled around too much. For me, it's mostly on my bed. I got the 15 lb blanket. I weigh 135 lbs and sleep very hot. I was worried about overheating. However, I've found I like to fold it in half to sleep under. I find the heavier weight is wonderful. I poke my feet out if I get too warm and that keeps me regulated. It is a bit of a challenge to change positions under that weight, but once I do, I easily relax. I think it helps me have deeper sleep. I dream more now. I'm a newcomer to the weighted blanket. I just stumbled upon the item while searching for bamboo and alpaca duvets. The concept sounded intriguing. This blanket came before my other expensive bedding and now I don't know what to choose to sleep with! Been using the weighted blanket for about a month so far, haven't tired of it yet. When the bamboo duvet cover arrives, I'm wondering about having that next to me for softness and temp control and the weighted blanket over it? Not sure if it will damage the bamboo fibers?? Before buying the Luna I did a little bit of research. Going to the various sleep sites like sleepsherpa and sleepopolis to see what they said. Seems to be a lot of hype about these. Some say don't use for sleeping only for 1-2 hours, etc. Advice is to get one 10% your body weight. My criteria was to get something that would fit our bed (Queen) and something not too expensive $150 or less ideally. Luna had a great price, with organic cotton and glass beads. It also came in the 15lb weight size for a queen I was looking for (many were going up to 20lbs for queen size). This lays right on top of our queen bed. It does NOT hang over, it is exact size. The weighted blanket kind of feels like those lead vest you wear at the dentist for XRays. We've only had it for a few days and have liked it: soft, not too heavy, not cold or hot (that is why we like the cotton--very breathable. Time will tell if we keep using it but so far I'm happy with the purchase. We got it in WHITE with no cover yet. Beads shift a little but are quite. I'm giving it 5 stars for its quality and what it offers for the price. Look around, you probably won't find a better deal. I have no complaints. ... show more

Purchased the 15 pound blanket in the color pink Color is a charming muted dusty rose color Size of blanket is just enough to cover a twin size bed There are usually complaints on the measurements of these blankets but I don't think they are meant to be shared (more of a personal blanket) Tag description: machine washable, cold, gentle cycle, hang dry or dry clean only Matetial: 100% cotton (outter shell) Microfiber (inner shell) Polyester, and glass beads (fill) I've always preferred "heavier" blankets but had no idea weighted blankets were an option. I was unsure if a 15 lb blanket was going to be too heavy for me, but turned out to be a perfect weight Definitely improved my sleep by reducing my restlessness and tossing and turning Best blanket decision I've made I looked at many other options for weighted blankets and chose this one and I'm happy I did. Visually it looks and feels of good quality, color is lovely. Material feels soft and cool to the touch, great for warm weather. Over all very happy with this blanket. ... show more

I bought this blanket hoping it would help with my boyfriend’s insomnia and tossing and turning. Unfortunately it has not made a difference for him - instead it keeps me sleeping like a baby when he tosses and turns! We both love how cozy and comforting this blanket feels. Definitely high quality and love the fact it’s made of organic cotton. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that, even though all the science on weighted blankets says they are not supposed to be larger than the mattress - I have a queen - the blanket does shift (again due to my sleeping partner’s tossing and turning), and I end up waking up cold and having to pull it back. I see a design opportunity here - make it larger, and maybe have the edges be lighter than the main section of the blanket? If a king size existed I would definitely buy it. Finally, I bought a 15lb and wish I had bought the 20lb. I am only 115lbs, and my partner is 190lbs, but I am strong and muscular and find myself wishing for more weight, and I am sure more weight would help him as well. So in conclusion: I think weighted blankets are a brilliant idea with potential for even better design - such as making a larger blanket, or even a dual weight blanket for couples. Features like this could really make a company stand out from the competition. ... show more
