We are currently doing a remodel and this caught our eye. It fits perfect, however the let down is the handle to open/close the blinds. I’m fairly tall at 6’2. I can reach it but my wife cannot. Going have to purchase a longer handle to add it to these blinds. Definitely going to buy more of these but would of liked a longer handle for taller windows. Unable to find a local business that could supply me with a vinyl mini blind, I turned to online sources and eventually ended up here in Amazon. Some of the reviews were mixed, which made me apprehensive about ordering this blind but I did anyhow. My review is below but first, tips for those who plan to install this without needing to seeing a psychiatrist. 1. For your own mental health, please take the mounting brackets out of the box and practice learning how it works with the actual blind itself while you're comfortably seated on the ground so you know what you're doing once you get those brackets installed in your window frame. 2. Now that you know that much, if your blind is wide (mine was 69.5" wide and 72" long), you should know you're going to need the middle bracket. Some smaller widths might only require the left and right brackets but given that the top mounting piece is a very flexible vinyl product (no, it's not metal), you're going to have a droop in the middle without the middle mounting bracket. 3. Speaking of that middle bracket, you should know that you cannot mount it in dead middle of your window as I did, which would have been most asthetically appealing. You can't because right in the middle of the top of the blind itself, they've mounted a metal piece, which appears to be part of the mechanism which rolls the blind strings back up inside of it. It's thick enough that it occupies the entire space within the top mounting rail of the blind, meaning you cannot properly seat the lip of the mounting bracket inside of it. You will need to offset that center mounting bracket you're installing in your window frame to work around this design flaw. 4. If it's a wider blind, helps to have a second pair of hands and eyes in seating the blind in the bracket. 5. Be careful pulling this blind up and down. The lower rail is made of metal but is easy to bend out of shape. Take it easy. REVIEW: It's disappointing that this company does not make the top mounting rail out of metal. It would be much more durable and would not droop the way an all-vinyl rail (this is all vinyl) will droop. The decision to put the metal hardware right in the middle in a way that was not modified so you could mount the middle bracket exactly in the middle of your window and snap the middle bracket in place is also unfortunate. I made it work by offsetting but as noted, with an all-vinyl top rail, it requires a center bracket unless you like a droopy blind. This is NOT the "S" shaped blind, which closes virtually all the way; instead, this is what I call a C shape, meaning that the blades of the blind do not collapse all the way on top of the blind below or above for complete privacy closure. If you're seeing total privacy, this isn't that blind. Some kudos: the company was prompt to get this custom cut and shipped. It arrived a full week earlier than promised and I'm glad to have some window dressing up again. The price was competitive and overall, I'm at least satisfied. ... show more

I bought three of these blinds and two of them installed easily and look good. On the third blind I could only get one side to snap into the bracket correctly. The left side would not snap in fully, although it is substantially seated and should be ok. Also the top slat is a little out of shape and doesn't look so good. Pros: The blinds arrived much quicker than expected. I was nervous about potentially messing up the measurements but I followed the measurement instructions and they turned out spot on. No excess length, just perfect. The color is a nice white (though it appears warmer in photos due to my dark old house). So far they pull down and up very smoothly. Installation wasn't too difficult. Cons: The edges of them were just as damaged and ugly as noted by some other reviewers. I've been dying to make these windows more functional so I can have daylight during the day and privacy at night so I decided to live with the defects but it definitely feels like a poor use of my money. I found that taking a fine grit sandpaper and running it along the defects helps minimize their appearance a little bit but some of the edges are too chopped up for this to make a significant difference. One of the slats on one set came with a small tear in it - this is thankfully not too noticeable. Additionally, the brackets they come with are coated white but one of mine had large pieces of paint peeled off of it. This defect was not noticeable once the blinds were in place, but still not worth the $30 I paid for each set of blinds. Long story short, I would probably not buy these again due to quality issues but they are meeting my expectations for functionality. ... show more

I ordered 2 cordless blinds 36 x 36. Arrived early in heavy cardboard boxes. Correct size. Large print instructions. Note that the wand is taped inside the box it will not slide out. End caps went in easy. My window opening is not wood, it's stucco or something. Therefore I used a 1/16 drill bit and my own fat screws. If you have wood frames it's very easy. The blinds snapped in with a little force. Just took one try. They look great. ... show more

Not a lot of economy custom sized blinds to choose from right now. Read all the reviews for these and followed the installation advice of placing the brackets where there is a little give in the blinds for ease of snapping them in. Worked well. These vinyl blinds are not super sturdy and seem like they could be broken if not handled gently but we only adjust them a couple times a week so think they will be fine long term. Cuts down on bright light well and tilt adjustment wand works smoothly. Followed manufacturer size ordering instructions and they are perfect fit. Good white color. ... show more
