This was an amazing steal. I'm useless at assembling things but even I found it very easy to assemble this lamp. It looks great, the wood is dark and beautiful (and free of blemishes). My only complaint would be that I wish the wire would begin at the very base of the lamp instead of at the top. There are nice plastic holders to pin the wire to the side of the lamp stand so that it is somewhat unobtrusive but in my opinion it is still very obvious and ruins the beauty of the lamp. The shade, especially when lit, looks expensive and quality. Overall a very good purchase and I intend to buy another. ... show more

Bought this lamp thinking it was a dark brown color. Actually looks black instead. All in all it looks good where I put it however would of preferred it to be brown.

This product looks exactly as advertised and was super easy to put together! The only reason I docked a star is because the weighted bottom does not do much in terms of sturdiness. These will definitely fall over if accidentally bumped into or if something heavy is not centered on the shelves correctly. However, we keep these on the sides of our bed, so they are not in a place where they can easily be bumped into, which has made this less of an issue. ... show more

I’m actually kind of surprised how much I like this lamp! It was easy to assemble and looks really good. I was really worried when I saw the lamp shade rolled up like a poster, but it comes together perfectly. Would buy again!
