Description

The LS2 Helmets Verso is the newest open model in the range. The Verso features LS2's twin shield system with an exclusive, rotary dial switch for the sunshield that makes it easy to drop down or close, even with a gloved hand. The shield features exterior vortex generators and internal air diffusers. These high-end features create stability at speed, and create a quiet, clear riding experience. The shield is optically correct and uses LS2’s FogFighter fog resistant treatment for the maximum in fog protection. The shield is scratch and UV resistant and can be changed quickly and easily with our tool-less quick-change system. The Verso comes with an optional, removable peak for even more versatility in riding styles. The dual visors work together for a combined recovery system which will allow the internal sun shield to be raised when the exterior shield is raised. The removable, washable comfort padding uses breathable technical fabric and is easy to keep as fresh as new. Our cheek pads use ultra-high quality foam that is cut to shape using LS2’s 3D laser technology for all day comfort and no hot spots. Fully adjustable, flow through ventilation keeps you cool and more in control when the weather gets rough. A DOT approved quick release chinstrap makes it a breeze to get the helmet off and on your head. Our designers at our world headquarters in Barcelona, Spain interviewed touring riders, adventure riders and commuters, and then set out to design the ultimate in a modular style motorcycle helmet. I went through several helmets, not on purpose. (Sorry Amazon) I bought the 3/4 face still a little worried about an uplift with it. There really isn't any. With my full face, I get more than this one. I have sat in traffic at a complete standstill for an hr. This helmet didn't get hot. Everything else around me did especially since I had big trucks on all sides of me. Being able to lift the shield and keep the sun visor down helps. I was caught in a rainstorm the other day and it did a great job deflecting rain as well. I can't say enough good things about this helmet. I ordered this as an open box item from Amazon. It was returned due to fitment and was resold at a steep discount. There was no damage to the item and still had the protective stickers on it. I'm not a fan of the face shield as it sits too close to my face for my liking. I removed it and installed the peak (included) instead. Looks nicer in my opinion. The flip down shades are nice but they aren't effective against the wind at 50+mph. They do have plenty of room for your own bike glasses though which is probably how they should be used anyway. I usually go with the yellow type so the shade is a nice option but probably something I won't use. The quick release system is such a nice option! This is the most comfortable/balanced helmet I've worn. No wind buffeting. Airflow is great, did not get overheated in 100+ degree weather. Noise is about what I expect from an open face helmet, probably better. For fitment use their sizing chart and measure around the bottom of your skull around just above your eyebrows and you should get a proper fitment. It's really hard to bite the bullet on helmets online but with a good return policy and price I was willing to take the risk on this one. Saved a lot of money! ... show more

    • Good features for the price, but I do wish I'd spent more on a better product.

For the price it has a lot of great features, but these run very small. I measured myself and went according to the size chart, but still had to return it twice for larger sizes. I have mixed feelings about it. The sun visor isn't polarized, so it doesn't really replace sunglasses very well, but it gets the job done in a pinch. The buckle isn't a chin guard. It's a chin strap, and it is quite awkward even with padding. It overlaps my ears inside the helmet which messes up many headphones I try to wear, and if I have it on correctly it feels tight. The face shield comes down below my chin (good for protection) but the breath slots are so far down that the shield fogs up anyway. If I put the shield up, it makes a constant whistle that sounds like a distant siren (you can imagine how disconcerting that is). My final caution would be that the paint on it is not very durable. I have been relatively gentle but even just setting it down normally or bumping things with it while carrying it has caused white scratches and blemishes that are quite noticable against the black paint... Overall it gets the job done. But I will probably get a different helmet at some point. ... show more

Nice construction and good details. The inner cushioning is very generous. Double visor work nicely. The sizing is kinda not consistent. Bought two Verso helmets, one for my wife and one for me. Got a XL and a L. They fit almost exactly the same, the difference is almost not noticeable. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a good helmet. Don’t have much experience with motorcycle helmets, it’s my second one, but definitively an improvement over the old one. If you think of buying a helmet online I recommend you to try several helmets on any shop before. That way you may know how it should fit, that is what I did: tried at least 8 brands of helmets and at least 5 models of the LS2 brand. The chin buckle system works great for me. I like it much better than the old-style double loops. The build seems solid and there are no glaring defects. The fit was perfect. My last few helmets have been XL and this XL fits great. This summer I rode with the clear face shield in the up position and only used it in the down position when bugs were out. The dark eye shades work up and down easily. It is warm at 90 degrees and hotter, like all the other sub-$250 helmets I've ever worn. ... show more

I like the helmet, it seems well built, has thick padding, the shield comes down just past my chin, I like having the separate sun visor, the helmet looks great. The one problem, as mentioned in many of these reviews, is the sizing. My head measures about 23 inches. I'm a medium oval I think. According to their sizing chart I should be a large. I ordered an XL, the XL was too tight, especially around my jaw area. My face was squeezed and with the chin strap secured, was too tight also. I sent it back and re-ordered an XXL. The return was very easy, Kohls now handles Amazon returns. The XXL fits fine. So.. two sizes up from what the chart said. ... show more

Iam taking a Can-Am driving class/course and it requires a 3/4 or full helmet and since I am clausterphobic went with this one and it does not disappoint. Love the shield and the built-in sunshades, PLUS I can still wear glasses while wearing this helmet. You can leave the sunshades up if not needed. In addition, I love love love flowers so when I seen this I thought how cool - This helmet is well made and while I am using it for a training class - it is PERFECT! The biggie is that it is DOT & ECE 22.05 certified, very important! Fantastic packaging & shipping too! ... show more

Ordered one size up and the fit is perfect. With a 23.5 inch round head the xl was the right fit, if your head is oblong like mine then the large would've been fine but hers is round so the xl is perfect. The finish and quality is really better than i was expecting however the drop down sunshade is slightly off center but still works fine. She likes the helmet which speaks volumes if you know her!
