  • Great concept and build quality, not the greatest execution. Room for improvement.
Style: GearUp Pouch Mini
Decided it was time to graduate to something more structured for my cable/adapter management now that business air travel is back. Having been a longtime user and advocate of Lowepro products, figured I'd give this a try. The build quality is excellent, color scheme is great, and the materials are top notch. Typical Lowepro. Functionally, though, it's mediocre. You can stuff a handful of cords into the elastic slots keeping them very secure. However, the main panel that handles the cords is free floating inside the case. This means when you open the case, let's say on an airplane seat, the panel with your cords readily falls out or in my case, is ejected because of shortcoming #2 which I'll get to. The panel is not attached in any way to the body of the case. Note to Lowepro: simply use velcro tabs to allow this panel to hinge out of the way but stay connected to the body of the case. #2 shortcoming is the depth of the case. If you're just carrying cords and maybe a small dongle or two, no problem. Case is perfect. The moment you try to fit in a USB power adapter into the shallow "pocket," you'll realize the depth of the case is too shallow. When you zip up the case, your power supply will put pressure on the floating panel holding your cables and when you open it on a dark airplane, the panel quickly falls out, so be prepared. Only carrying cables? This is a fine, but expensive solution. Carrying cables, 1-2 USB power adapters (even the slim Anker ones), maybe a rechargeable battery pack? Look for another product with more depth. ... show more

  • Needs Velcro
Style: GearUp Wrap
This is a good idea. But, it doesn't secure well. The strap is non-adjustable. This allows things to come loose and pop out. A velcro strap would keep things snugly in place.

  • Comodidad y excelente estado
Style: GearUp Pouch Mini
La responsabilidad con sus productos y la durabilidad siempre priman. Un poco pequeño pero muy cómodo y útil

  • I love my little "lunchbox"!
Style: GearUp Camera Box
This is used for my "play" camera a Sony A6300, a 16-70, a 10-18, charger, batteries, strap, cards, etc. It's a nice little case that drops into a backpack really well and protects well enough for general walkin' around use. Not super heavily padded but good enough for general use. I've pressed it into use for some of my shoots as a full time pro, carrying extra stuff inside a roller or other case a few times. Worked well. Plus, you can look like a cool kid carrying it by the handle like you did with your Batman lunch box when you were 7. Well I'm old and we had lunch boxes way back then and the Batman one was cool. YMMV. ... show more

  • Handy. Lots of pockets.
Style: GearUp Wrap
Have two of these, one for A/V cables, connectors, and adaptors, and one for data cables, USB, adaptors, etc. With some securing straps and pockets you should find plenty of uses for these, in spite of their cost.

  • Lowe-Pro is good stuff.
Style: GearUp Wrap
Works for me. Has enough storage to store cables and some accessories. Is it worth $20 some bucks - probably not.

  • Good quality, but small and limited.
Style: GearUp Pouch Mini
This is a quality built product. My complaint, though, is the design is very limited. The inside of the pouch is full of elastic straps for securing items, but the straps are all so small, they limit what you can actually fit in them. Pens, short USB cords, thumb drives. None of the will accommodate my charger, or my power bank or my portable SSD. There is a pocket in the back of the pouch for larger items, but even that is small and won't accommodate the three items I listed above. I'm the end, if your needs match the limits of this organizer, it's a good product. For my needs, however, it falls short. ... show more
