    The upgraded version was definitely worth the money for me because I had to bring two laptops and an iPad with me on my trip. I was surprised that there was a passed pocket for both laptops and a pocket for the iPad to boot. I don’t know that the upgraded pockets gave it more room per se, I think the bulk went INTO the backpack rather than away, so there’s that if you’re comparing capacity. But the convenience of being able to access them was worth it for what I was doing. I had a water bottle on one side and a large shaker bottle on the other. I had to remove one in order to fit it under the seat on the plane, but that was no big deal, I just stuffed it into the pocket on the back of the airplane seat we landed. I bought the dark green and was pleasantly surprised that the fabric has a shimmery kind of sheen to it. So pretty! And the gold accents look very classy. Held up very well after my trip. Looks just as good after a full round trip as it did when I unboxed it. The charge cord (extension? Since it’s not a full cord? I don’t know) came in very handy. I was concerned that it would be a cheap cord that wouldn’t match the quick charge capabilities of my battery pack and cord but my phone charged very quickly! You just have to watch it because it can pop out and then you have to open the bag and dig around until you find the cord to pop it back in and fix it. Only happened once though. Being able to remove it is worth the risk in case it wears out. You know how cords are. I would have liked a small pocket for my little wallet, the pocket on the front that looks like it should be a small pocket goes in very deep, but what it has did the job. If I care that much I could always sew it to be shorter for next trip. I probably won’t bother though. ... show more

    The media could not be loaded. Graduate Student here....and this backpack is so flippin perfect! It is cute, comfy, and durable! My first time wearing it, it rained like crazy and the backpack stayed dry!! It holds my 40OZ tumbler which is a huge plus for me! It's large with lots of space and fits my 15.6 inch laptop perfectly! In the video provided I have a binder, book, 2 spirals, a folder, and 2 pencil cases which all fits great with room for more.     This is now going on 2 years strong! It is resilient, looks good, amazing quality material. Holds allll of my stuff easily. You will be pleasantly surprised how much it holds.     It's beautiful and very roomy! Particularly, I like the wide-open top. Easy to find things. Fits more. The charging port is a nice extra. I only wish we could select usb-c. But its fine with the older USB. More pockets than I can think now to use!! Ian certain I will find il convenient as I use this. Laptop and tablet pockets are nicely padded. Very easy to get in/out. I can fit thicker binders and books in the main compartment. Little pockets for my powerbank. Zip in some papers. Pouches for water bottles, umbrella, and even cups that have a handle. The backpack straps feel comfortable. They can be tucked behind the luggage strap. I extended the straps to give it length to tuck. Makes it easier to use just the handles. Got because a second one for my daughter because she liked mine so much! We have the orange and wine red bags. If the orange also came in the upgraded size, I would have ordered both our bags in the larger (taller) size. Being as large and roomy as it is, I stood it next to my daughter's traditional backpack, and it was the same height. I will add before/after pics later.     In love with this bag. I ordered the green and it’s the perfect color. I got the bag to use for work and it did not disappoint. The quality is actually great for the value of money you paid. It’s quite spacious and light weight. I love the double cup pockets on the side, the multiple compartments, and the USB attachment for a power bank.     I can fit my small camera bag (body, lens acessory) at the bottom of the backpack. This means I don't have to pack the camera bag or risk damaging my camera equipment by packing them seperately. It's then roomy enough for the incedentials needed for traveling. Once I get to my destination, my camera equipment is ready to go! It's well made and I'm never going back to a backpack that doesn't have the framed opening! Saves so much time trying to find things. Would highly reccomend! ... show more

    This backpack is the perfect size and holds everything I need for an average work day. Laptop, cords, snacks or my lunch. The best feature for me is the outside drink pockets. They stretch and can accommodate a range of tumbler sizes. So far, it’s very durable and good quality. The straps adjust very well and it stands up on its own when it has stuff in it. If I had to change anything, I’d like silver or hard plastic zipper. The gold color is the only thing I’m not a fan of, but that won’t stop me from using it! ... show more

    I bought this for a work trip to Europe. It held up well, looked good, and allowed me to bring extra goodies home with all the extra space I had. There are so many pockets which lets you be a little more organized. I wish the straps on the top (not the book bag straps, but the other small handles) were just a smidge longer. Maybe one or two more inches to make it easier to hold. Overall, would recommend and would buy again if this one broke. I’d even buy this in a different color if it went on sale. ... show more
